The irony is that sex scenes in literature usually describe the physical act itself in all details (sweat, moaning, etc), rather than a dialogue between the sex partners.
Or should we rather say: cringey monologue fragments, taken from american mainstream porn ("uuh ur dick is so big / cum for me baby") or hentai fiction (like the "throbbing dick" and the "onii-chan")
Perhaps the problem here is that most authors are Gen Zs who never had sexual experiences outside watching porn and sending dick picks to their classmates. And how would you write about something you never experienced yourself.
You made a big smile on my face with this one. I mean some of that is true Ig. But rly, I don't mind a bit of description.
I alrdy have the imgs showing me what's happening so why overdo it. I know it can be difficult to try and make some dialogues during sex scenes but I prefer the ("I like it, fuck me harder/ or the classical cumiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing or AAAAAAAAAAAH"... lol I will at least laugh at it rather than skip it) than some big text that explains scientifically how she is being penetrated, sometimes I just pause the scene and begin thinking abt the philosophy behind it.
I don't know if you get me, but it's like it comletely breaks the immersion.
Also, one of the things I think most games miss are frkin sex sounds or sfx whatever it is called. It'd make scenes a lot less awkward or blank. Bc, I have to admit you can't make them (characters) have a ton of lines during sex scenes (though you can play with their inner thoughts to add to it + other tricks), adding sounds would at least fill in for those moments.
I won't even talk abt how some games skip the little post/after sex scenes when I find them so important(kisses, neck bite/kisses, spanks, sweet/kinky words, hugs, teasing...).
Sry, I kinda emptied my bag in here lol.
