This is a very asinine complaint but goddamnit, it's really annoying that it's chinese. No, not because there's something wrong with mandarin or cantonese but because as a staunch weeb-lord it makes my weeb-tier JP completely useless rather than mostly useless. Fk. Out of all the languages in asia, chinese is the one I know the least; Some JP, just a little bit bahasa indonesia, very minimal korean and absolutely ZERO CHINESE.

This happens mainly because of stricter management. You can't say it directly or you will be blocked. This is one of the main reasons. So we use words with similar pronunciations instead. It has now become a more euphemistic expression. For example, the pronunciation of the supermarket in the "supermarket me" you mentioned is closer to fuck in Chinese.
