Seems so long ago I defended the Dev on this game. Hard to do these days as going radio silent is a very bad look. We live in a society where there are more than 10 different ways to reach out to people. There is no excuse for this

well, the delay for news is worrying ... i'm wondering what he is doing with the game .. he is remaking the game to insert a new character in the house besides Alice .. because it will be very interesting and would bring a big change in the game already thought to open the game and come across Alice's Mother or an older "sister" ... how wonderful it would be to have one more to "play with"
is it the reason for such a delay? and if it is, i would like her to stay in the same house as alice with her events being developed and a new scheme of movements or expansion with more than 5 or hour movements would be very interesting .... i know that one day the update will turn. .. will it be worth the wait?

I was thinking that too but if that was the case it's not smart to stay radio silent because he will eventually lose patrons and support, damn, even saying that he's working on that kind of thing would be something that people can relate to and just wait. That being said people would expect a result of some kind if any news was given, in this scenario the situation is not promising.

Eh, I wouldn't call it as "better". Going radio silent gives other people especially the faithful ones hope that "Maybe he's just busy" or "Maybe he's just creating some big update" thus they keep supporting him. Its gives less noise but it is a hell lot scummier.
Him admitting that he is abandoning it, makes people stop supporting him. It may give out a lot of noise but at least, the dev (if they have a moral compass) will have an easier time moving on and people hate him less.
That is why a lot of patreon devs at least make art teasers while developing. Proof it isn't abandoned.
