Isn't it because his last update was in August and since I don't know when he didn't even appear even once on his own discord, posted anything on patron or any other social media?
It's one thing to change your priorities, it's another to disappear completely... ;p

I'm making two games and one is just like this and this was the inspiration, so this is sad to me. I once got the source code from a gamemaker1 game but that was difficult and buggy.
