Thanks for the response and the offer, I'll just get it on Steam then since its more convenient.
Out of curiosity is there a reason you'd advise against Itch? I always assumed they were the most developer friendly being and Indie platform but I also have never developed or distributed a game in my life so there's plenty I don't know
Itch is a mixed bag. There's good and bad - as far as developer friendly I'd have to give the nod to steam. Even though itch takes a smaller cut of the profits than steam, it doesn't provide nearly as much.

All of that said the real reason I advise against itch is because it's the most expensive option. Using USD prices (since prices are regional), outside of sales Steam is $10 (with a sale going on currently), Itch is $12, and patreon is $10. This is mostly because itch comes with additional logistics that make it less worthwhile to sell there, hence the higher tag.

I recommend the Steam version, as it was very enjoyable to get all the achievements in this game. Looking forward to the next release from the DEV on Steam.

Itch also likes to ban Devs with no real explanation. Not as bad as Patreon, but the censors are alive there. :devilish:

If you liked Leap of Faith, you will probably like this one, they are pretty similar. This one actually has less emotional trauma and more sexy time, so I'd say I prefer it. (y)

This game cost $11.99 on Itch. I did not know for sure if the game was even any good but it came highly recommended by some of the best dev's out there. I could have downloaded it here but what the hell. Sight unseen I paid $20.00 for the game. It was worth every penny and I have not even played every path yet. I had it already wishlisted on Steam but I do not use Steam so that was never actually going to happen. All I can say is that I had a ton of fun playing this game (even though I suck at the volleyball). It was the most fun I have had in quite a while. I am sure I will continue to have fun in the future.

The game is really good, did you manage to get all the endings? I highly recommend you try!

Remaster!

That's right - a full remaster of Alive is coming. This will include a full graphical rework of the game, some improved functionality, as well as... that's right, new content! I'm not going to go into too much detail on the new content just yet - we're too early in the process for that, I'll have more details closer to release. In the meantime a full remaster of Alive is now underway! Unfortunately this will take time - my priority is on the new game (No Such Luck) so the remaster is something that is going to be done slowly over time. The entire process will likely take a year or so - but once it's completed, the game will receive a nice new coat of paint, and some new content to go with it!

That's it for now - More info will be available via the Alive Community Hub once the process progresses a bit, and via announcements when we're closer to completion. I don't have an ETA on any of the Alive remaster work yet, as mentioned it will take a while, but in the meantime feel free to check out No Such Luck!
