I think that other dude was joking about the keyloggers, that's malware and if you're caught it's illegal. Not that anyone pursues that probably. If you really badly want this game off of F95 that would probably do it, it would be caught as malware, either stripped out on a release or likely removed from the site and the account banned that uploaded it.

A dev seriously wanting to put that in is a real bad red flag. I did play the release, it was obviously way too short for a yearly release and I had thought this game had been abandoned in all honesty until a few weeks ago, when I randomly checked. Most small devs like to use F95zone as advertisement and then take whatever patreons they get off that. After a few releases and if said dev is delivering, usually releases get delayed, but this is a pirate porn site so if there's any interest probably it will get leaked on here. If there's zero interest it won't get leaked but then that's its own issue.

With the issues this site has had recently more people will probably start sandboxing and blocking games off too, so if keyloggers and malware become that prevalent, they will be useless too. It won't stop piracy, it will just harm the devs, because patrons will question why they are getting spyware on their official downloads. And if they're not in the official download, that's what's going to get leaked, so a lose lose situation all around.

But you do whatever you want. This is just a friendly voice of reason. You've probably gotten more patreons off this website from the release leaked than you would have otherwise. If you don't want to take advantage of this site that's also on you, I make no judgment either way, but it seems kind of hard to get a game removed from on here.

If I where you I would focus more on, how to mitigate the damage the leak would do to your patreon supporters, maybe offer them an extra small additional scene at least?

Yup, I've spent around 9k on daz so far, thats probably more then my next 15 games combined would earn.
Also, the first game that a developer releases usually sucks (though not always), but it is important as a learning block for future, hopefully great, games to come. So you have to look at it as an expensive and very time-consuming hobby for a long time, and eventually, maybe it will pay off.

I'm more interested in the programming side of things and what the trick is than the actual implementation, which would probably just make life miserable for everyone. There's a history of piracy and many bigger corporations suffer from their anti-piracy attempts. I know that piracy cannot be stopped, that's why I decided from the beginning that all my games will be free forever. My sadness at the leak was mainly because it's not fair to my patrons and I can't do anything about it. And honestly, I would have never even considered Patreon if the DAZ stuff wasn't so expensive.

Most of your patrons will have come from here or similar sites so they understand that they're not really paying for exclusivity, they're donating in order to get more of the story

Earning money is currently not possible, it will be probably in the next update. I wrote on my Patreon the reasons why I decided to release the update without this option some time ago.

Honestly, and this may seem harsh, I don't need to know the reasons why. Frankly it's nothing I haven't heard before, and I don't really understand them or know if it's even true. I can only take peoples word for it. But that's not the reason it's concerning. I'm sure you must have noticed just how many games are started and abandoned, especially among the futa on male category, and many of those would be devs say much the same as you have said.

In the past I have eagerly supported many promising attempts at futa on male games, as well as some others in other categories I enjoy, and they've all ended up being abandoned. Often before even really getting off the ground. It's very damaging to trust, and the reason I've ended up here on f95. That's why I said we'll have to wait and see what happens. I pray you will stick with it and produce a quality game in a category that is sorely lacking, as I also said it shows much promise even at this early stage. And if you do I will happily throw some money your way when I feel there's enough content to warrant it. But it's still wait and see right now.

As for the earning money, that's good to know. At least I didn't miss anything. Is earning money going to be retroactive needing a replay to go back and earn, or are you planning a first week exemption kind of thing?

Yeah, it's a problem. I think only 3 or 4 games I supported are still going on, and only 1 game was finished. The rest got abandonded (and fairly quickly at that) so nowadays I usually wait 3-4 updates before pledging. That being said I did join Alterlife's Patreon in hopes to make a better day for the dev And I hope that the next update will drop in a reasonable time.

Yeah, I somehow missed 2 last scenes from the memory too. Maybe I should disagree with some girls or be rude to someone? Anyone knows something? I don't feel like blindly looking for 2 scenes

Probably some kind of scar or burn. At first I thought it was face paint, until I noticed the discoloration of the skin on her neck, then it was obvious to me it was a mask.

The additional scene would be leaked as well as the entire game. Piracy has always been around and many have tried to stop it, but failed, so I won't waste time on it. I have very little of it and I would rather put it into development. I believe that in time I will find something that will work for everyone.

I haven't spent that much, but I've already spent a surprising amount for shopping exclusively on sale. I probably should have started with something simple that would include maybe 2-3 rooms and not the whole city. I still don't know why I decided to build an entire city for the first game but I like a challenge. I can't do simple things, because I get bored easily and I also want to improve my overall skills, so maybe that's the reason.

I think you are right about this and I hope it will be the case. I really want to continue this game and speed up production. I think it will go much faster after the world building phase.

I absolutely understand your concerns and if you don't feel up to supporting me, that's fine. I know I'm nobody and I need to make a name for myself first, so I'll keep going and we'll all see how it goes.

It's not the players fault that I didn't add the ability to earn money, so I'll find a way to not penalize the players for it. I have several ideas on how to do it, but the content ends around day 4, so unless they slept on purpose they should have plenty of time to earn money.

Thank you so much for making an exception with me, it sure made my day, but I kinda feel bad about it. The leak really brought me to my knees and I was in a really bad place, because I felt like I totally failed my Patrons. I hope I didn't act like a moron when I said how I felt at the time. It was a unique situation and I will do better next time.

As for updates, I could release updates more often, but in that case those updates may not always have a new lewd scene or more than 1-2 of them, at least for now in the world building phase. Once the world building phase is complete, it will be much easier to focus more on everything else.

I'm doing what I can, please be patient. The last two scenes are in the Gym and the Futa club. Both are available after certain events, just follow the quest app on your smartphone.

You can't miss these scenes unless you really willingly say no to them. One is in the gym and the other is in the Futa club. Both are main quests, but you have to complete the previous quests first. Just follow the quest app on your smartphone.

I think that releasing fairly decent (even 1-2 lewds) updates every 2-3 months for now is ok if you'll inform your Patrons (and players in general) this is the worldbuilding phase necessary to get the game going forward. Those of us who prefer bigger updates will simply wait, those who like smaller will have smth to play. I usually wait - depending on the game - for 2-4, sometimes even 5 or more (Boring Days) updates before playing. And making a buzz should be good for the game early on (a lot of folks thought the game's abandonded and I'm sure quite few of us forgot what happened earlier).

Plus some bonus content for Patreon once or twice per month could be a good idea.
