I just gave it a try to see how good the translation is - and for an MTL, this one's pretty good.

It's stilted, yes. But I haven't seen any sloppy things like text running offscreen. (though I haven't played through the whole thing yet, so I may well have missed stuff)

I did see some untranslated stuff in one of the help sections at the beginning (the letter on that desk), but that's just minor.

The translation is credited to Mirgosoft. It does seem that they're doing a decent job.

Well, the combat system is officially annoying. The monsters sometimes take a huge portion of HP, making it seem unbalanced. I've died quite a few times to a simple blue slime. Then there's the issue of those traps that knock your HP down to 1. I always manage to hit one right next to an enemy, which accounts for about 25% of my deaths so far. At least I've figured out the exhibitionism mechanic, which I also don't care for as I'd rather have the ability to strip permanently, not situationally based on the exposure number in the main menu, which, if I read the help translation right, serves as a sort of defensive debuff where you do more damage, but so do the monsters. I'd have a lot fewer complaints with the combat if everything was able to initiated a scene, but most only annoyingly teleport you and erase all the work you put into clearing the floor you died on.

Someone please upload a dialogue sample or something.
The last time someone told me that something was "pretty good" for a MTL, I was greeted with confusing vocabulary choices, had no idea who the hell was speaking, and suffered sex scenes that sounded like someone spammed the word prediction function on a phone.
If it's as bad as I think it is, I'll just put it on watch and pray a legit translation eventually pops out.

If anyone's curious, I was playing this game.

Unfortunately, not all lines can receive programs such as Translator++, etc.
In addition, some text in games is sometimes presented as images ...

To a large extent, the quality of translation depends on how exotic words are used by game developers. Also, complete nonsense can result in various stutters, groans, sighs, etc. My software tries to fix such problems, but at the moment it does not work in all cases. You can see one of the examples of such low-quality machine translation in one of the following games.

All my translations are totally free (and *.trans files too).
The patreon page is only needed to enable people to support my translations, order a specific game, as well as those manual translators who need *.trans files without unnecessary critical errors. In almost all cases, my software allows me to automatically get rid of those. There are games on the forum, the errors in which are corrected for months.

I remember patreon meant quality now just meh :rolleyes: Some people on patreon are on their for a quick buck.
