Say, is it possible to use the data from the translated version to make most of the content translated, while just leaving the new content untranslated for now?

bored out of my mind, now trying to translate the 1.18 version.
having fun and fucking around.
probably gonna lose my ming halfway through and fucking die when I start playtesting it if I arrive to that point.

Isnt it just easier to port the translation off the old version and compare it to the new version and see just what changes?

since the files are json u can use something liek vscode or notepad+ to compare files

too sensible... not masochistic enough.
But really the code is like 24 rows and thousands of words, in terms of readability it's just terrible. Plus there is new stuff like the church events so I don't know if the code is gonna like the old version of itself.
BUT I am gonna check the old code for the date function and more to make this work a bit more tolerable.

But i imagine the tool ur using just groups all maps together.

TBH a while back i did try to port the game and realized that half the maps didnt change at all (dialogue wise) since nothing new was added to those specific maps.

Butdidnt continue since my japanese knowledge isnt that great to translate the maps that did contain new dialogue

...vscode plan didn't worked.(I mean it worked for armors, enemies etc but that's about it)
The original translator actually did proper programming and fixed this mess of a program, so it's not gonna be an a/b comparasion. If I try to translate on the fly to know what it is written, then using translator++ to translate them in bulk and fixing the grammar errors is gonna be much easier.
I am actually so impressed by the rework of the program I could give him the sloppiest blowjob he could ever reicive just for turning this 24 rows of a mess to a 12192 rows of beautiful readable program.

Oh u need to right click and click format so it shows all nice and beatifull

And I was wondering how tf am I gonna recreate the plugin for the calendar for this while dealing with walls of text.
