Like people have seen the new Main Menu and been like "They're changing everything!!" When really, that's more just a stylized version. I WOULD agree though, that when the Redux comes out, I bet there's a way we could make the faces more Danny Phantom esque.
What bothers me about the old stuff is that characters like Ember have sexier type bodies during h-scenes, but it just makes their heads look like they're photoshopped over. The cartoony heads look so out of place to me, personally.
Ember's Photoshoot image (and her portrait during dialogue and h-scenes as well) at the beginning of episode 7 is a good example of this, and one I'm glad Psymind remade. The new one feels adult and mature, without feeling too childishly lewd, considering we never touch back on it again. Idk why she would have done a lingerie shoot when she's just trying to promote her mind-controlling music to people lol

Yeah, Ember's head in the show and most of the fanart is too round-y and that makes her childish looking. She's one character I don't mind getting redone at all!

I personally choose Sam in this moment. She is MC's closest friend and we can see she has feelings for MC.
And this Paulina and Star. They are not worth that much attention since they laugh at MC and don't like him. They just want to go out with ghost version of MC.

No, they don't. LR keeps writing a number of people finding out about Danny, and it's not been my favorite changes made (one specific instance that's coming up, actually) but those two don't know.I will ask out of curiosity. Edit: Not to say that I don't love LR's writing efforts are wrong or that the writing is in any misguided. Anything I'm ever like "I don't know about that" gets pretty easily changed. It mainly comes down to tone a lot of the times in dialogue. Where I'm like "No, Lancer wouldn't be that rude" or "Jack shouldn't say god damn". That sorta thing.

Honestly, dude (or...gal..or whatever hah) the character appearances so far in have been flawless in my opinion. You guy simply upgraded to a more modern and polished, (but still not exactly realistic, which is what the show characters were already) version of the show. Besides that it is adult game and the bodys features should be expect to be a bit overstated or at least sexualized. Maddie was already a complete hourglass in the show, so this is just a 100% upgrade if you asking me. Jazz of course was a bit more slim and that is very understandable.
I don't understand why this people are complaining, unless I am misunderstanding. Have I missed some big changes from chapter 7 to now?
Some people aren't I guess keen on us integrating this sort of style for the more still lewd images. (this one being a new main menu version). Which is fair to their opinion, I just don't think our artists can really make the style of characters from the show work in the lewd realm as best as they can with just using this more stylized imagery.
I got to look at some new still images for the remade Paulina x Ectopus scene in Episode 1 today, and to me, it's my new personal favorite h-scene. I just like the dynamic drawing of it. I can't wait for you guys to see it as well. I wouldn't want people to too unfairly judge this art yet.

If I understand from the comments above correctly, there will be a overhaul for the game? Does this mean a change in visuals or just the in game engine? I'm thinking of jumping back into this game for Maddie. It was the entire reason I played the game in the first place.

Im of the opinion that the main draw of the game was how close to the show the artstyle is. If you took the words "Amity Park" off of that picture and showed it to a group of ppl who watched the show as kids, I dont think a large portion would even know that its supposed to be Maddie. Im honestly reminded of new He-Man....
Yeah, hes got muscles and the sword, and they say he is He-Man.... but thats not He-Man. You can obviously do what you guys want in your game but personally if the art style varies too far from what the show was, itll kill any interest I have in playing it. I want to play a Danny Phantom porn game, not a modernized porn reboot of the show.(if that makes sense) I guess if youve ran it by your patreon subs and they are ok with it thats all that matter though. lol
As a side note, I have to point out that oddly enough I WOULD be ok with an artstyle close enough that everyone is still identifiable... ie... the OTHER He-Man reboot....
Because he, although somewhat different, very clearly still looks like He-Man. Its a fine line honestly.
