What would a remaster look like? It plays fine I think. Alex makes great work, I think as long as it gets finished I can wait. I'd hate to see a "Jump the shark moment". I'd much rather not see this one rushed just to get it out there. I'm not a huge fan of the sandbox but I think it fits here, its the searching for things can get tiresome.

And the scooby doo storyline is good, like who bonked his head?

Hello friends.
I was very glad to hear your support in the previous post. Thank you all, it really energizes me to keep working. Now I've been busy for a week checking the finished scenes of the remaster. I've started checking from the very first scene. I'm re-reading the whole text, noting flaws that need to be tweaked and updating the roadmap. At the end of this complete check, I will have specific figures on the work done and on what is left to do. So the next post will probably already be with some figures, in which I will try to reflect the whole picture.

I want to say that I like what we have and already want to show all these results to YOU as soon as possible. I'm taking the liberty of resetting the progress report counter and starting at 1, because that will be a very different “story”.

With great gratitude, Super Alex.

if there is a remaster, will he remove the scene with the cheating (EX-)girlfriend MC while he was in a coma?
P.S. I hope so

Well, if he's now just gonna be remaking the game from the beginning I'm no longer gonna be paying attention to this one
Afaik they were already pretty close in catching up to the current version but I could be wrong. Could also be a miserable decision after all the backlash during this year. I would've preferred if they simply would've stopped releasing those half assed updates and do something for the main story. Waiting for 5 minute sidequest updates that don't even include hot scenes (just repeating itself) is very frustrating.

Yeah and not to mention, they claimed the side quests would be added on top of the main story, and faster. so that players could experience more lewd stuff, in between the sex we would have with main girls. None of what they have said they were gonna do has happened. They are all over the place

... and sometimes necessary if - having no plan or strategy whatsoever - the game development went into the wrong direction.

Phone SMS Message problem

So short summary for the Phone SMS problem in v0.100a (and earlier versions) :
It seems that there is a conflict between modal screens and the pause function in renpy. For some reason this worked in older renpy versions but not in the version used by the game now.

The result is that the game gets stuck when the mc tries to send a message (SMS) and the script uses "pause".
This is probably only a problem for players starting a new game.

A solution is to replace the "pause value" statements with "$ renpy.pause(value, modal=False)" in the file game\scripts\Global\phone SMS and Call.rpy.
I did this and it worked for me.

I attached my modified rpy-file.

If you get stuck due to this bug,
- create the folder game\scripts
- create the folder game\scripts\Global and
- place the attached file "phone SMS and Call.rpy" in the folder "game\scripts\Global".

Must I also delete my existing save files? I've already done this to the exact letter and it has yet to work sadly.

Yeah I've attempted this. Is it supposed to be saved as a text document? Is there a way to save it any other way? This hasn't worked
Right click, "save target as"

Text document would be fine too, but in that case you need to change the file extension from .txt to .rpy
