Hello,
I got a problem when using the fishing rod after the tutorial/first time fishing. I did not buy the better fishing rod of the shop, I am trying to use the "Basic Fishing Pole" hoping to earn some extra in game money. I will try to put the error message in a spoiler tag. It happened again after closing the game and restarting. I am playing from a save which has been updated to version 1.7 from 1.6 after applying the patch and loading it. Can someone tell me what I could do about this?

You've managed to find a way to uninitiate the fishing minigame. Which is neat. After loading could you try leaving and reentering the map before fishing? That may resolve it otherwise I'll have to do some tweaking to the code to re-initiate the Guage system on load.

Thank you. My save started from town (after hearing about the price of the other rod). So I entered, went back to town and reentered. And now I can fish again. But I hope I do not need to do that every time I want to go fishing. (I would still do it if necessary)

Ok good. Basically the code that ensures the fishing minigame works isn't loading correctly on load but instead triggering "on new map" it should only be an issue if you load and try and fish immediately before the map change event triggers. I'll work on a way to ensure this works correctly in. The future but for now the error seems isolated to the load and fish on same map.

Great job with the game so far Captain, Any estimate on when we'll finally be seeing any more ntr in the game? There was the harpy x orc scene, but I was wondering if there was any new ones with other people coming soon or somewhat soon?

I have one piece in an artists queue that is straight up classic ntr. Billia x warren hatefucking this will require the player to trigger it pretty specifically through a set of actions.

And I have some upcoming josie and centaurs content. The choice there is watch or join but its not really true ntr as josie has particular tastes and is clear she is never a true option for the player outside specific circumstances anyways. So that'll depend on your definitions. Also depending on which centaur is involved the tone of the scenes will change a bit.

As for when. A first Centaur scene in next update. The hatefuck in whatever update after I get the art. I actually have the scene mostly written I just need the art finalized and to animate it.

Edit: Also someone asked about mayor Ashdown scenes. I have some art ready but it's best to think of mayor's content as tied to the "main plot" so she will tend to advance slowly while I clean up my edges.

Funnily enough I ment to get out a quick followup update as like a v1.75 kind of update but instead i got covid and fuckin died for a bit. I'm alive again now and managed to get a bit of writing done so now I'm actually working on getting a 1.8 out hopefully this weekend but I'm trying not to push myself and fuck my health right back up again so don't hold too tight to that. The update will wrap up Warren's sidestory. Make his scenes repeatable. Start josie's sidestory and first scene. And a couple more small things.

FYI. In case you were thinking about going and getting some for kicks. covid fucking sucks balls.

Oh don't worry about that. I have in fact taken it quite seriously. I'm very much in the green. and still taking care not to overexert. If anything it feels good to finally be implementing some scenes I've had written for weeks.

Besides I need to get this update actually pushed to the latest update screen. The influx of facepalms emotes from haters of x y or z fuels me forward.

Will it matters to you if you still add the written scene, and then after you have the art for it you will add it in the next update ? Just like Warlock And Boobs game ? I don't mind if you don't, but just wondering for your opinion as a game writer/developper.

So far I have avoided doing that because I tend to have a good art backlog (currently a deep well of prepared art). And also the few times I wrote the scene before having art squared away there were these little things that didn't line up that kind of bothered me.

So i have a preference towards one way but am not particularly tied to it? Different order is just a different process in the end of the day. For the most part it's a non-issue. I get art in queues and they move along pretty nicely, usually outpacing my own writing and implementing by a fair factor.

I think I would only add a scene and release without its art if it was like. Integral to what I needed to do. Like if I had two more scenes with art downstream of it and the art was definitely not coming anytime soon.

One bout of covid per member of my household later and we have an update! as always let me know if you encounter any bugs or have any feedback. Super happy to be productive again. (Also, Onloup; sorry I didn't notice this question sooner but yes there will be more Janna. She has one scene in an artist's queue right now and will get more periodically. her current scene is reviewable in the gallery and will become repeatable when the next scene gets done.)
