Your condescending comment is highly amusing to me because
1. You apparently lack the brain capacity to read the notice on the main post that explicitly says this is not a novel and not meant to be taken particularly seriously.
2. This is not a Japanese game and does not claim to be an AVN anywhere.
3. This is a video game as it has interactive elements and exists in a digital format.
4. For someone who thinks he's clearly so very intelligent, it's amusing you failed to use "too" when you should have and used the wrong version of "they're."
And finally,
5. This is a pirate site that exists to pirate porn games. Given that it probably wouldn't exist if porn games didn't exist, I think it's pretty accurate to call this a porn site. Any argument against this is just a pointless question of semantics.
The developer deserves all the credit in the world for making a game he wants to make while asking for 0 financial support in return. He's very clear in the OP about what this game is and what to expect from it, and if you have some problem with it then that's on you. What you're doing now is like walking into a steakhouse and being unhappy that they serve primarily steaks.
I hope the dev doesn't get discouraged from comments like yours and keeps on working on this project.
Oh so it seems my grammar was more annoying to you than the actual topic, Did you know a lack of grammar does not mean a lack of intelligence.
Let's go off topic a bit and let me re-educate you on the basic differences between an AVN/VN and video games.
1.INTERACTIVITY.
AVN/VN = Minimal, Primarily limited to making choices in dialogue or at key branching points to influence the narrative.
VIDEO GAME = High, Involving a wide range of mechanics like exploration, puzzle-solving, combat, character progression, and real time action.
2. CORE FOCUS.
AVN/VN = Narrative and emotional engagement, essentially an interactive story with multimedia elements(text,static/animated images, video acting)
VIDEO GAME = Gameplay mechanics and challenges, with the narrative often serving to support the gameplay.
3. GAMEPLAY.
AVN/VN = often described as interactive books/comics or choose your own adventure/path stories, Minimal to to no traditional gameplay in many cases.
VIDEO GAMES = Diverse, including action, strategy, role-playing, simulation, sports, requiring various skills like reflexes, logical thinking or resource management.
4. CONTENT.
AVN/VN = The "ADULT" in AVN specifically refers to sexually explicit or MATURE content, which is common, though not a universal feature of the genre.
VIDEO GAMES = Content varies widely by genre and rating, Adult content is not a defining characteristic of video games.
5. PRESENTATION.
AVN/VN = Typically uses a first-person perspective( can be third person) with static or sprite-based visuals(limited animation) mainly in 2D bit can be in 3d, over a background.
VIDEO GAMES = Highly variable presentation, Including 2D/3D graphics, Various camera perspectives(first person, third person, top-down) and EXSTENSIVE animation and enviromental interaction.
Following by the basic foundations of an AVN/VN and Video games it is factually correct that this game/story is in fact an ADULT VISUAL NOVEL, But following your logic is like a car manufacturer making a new car but telling you it is not a car, So yes this is a novel regardless of what the creator states.
Now back to topic of my comment and the fact you think i stated this is a Japanese game, When in fact i stated that AVN's were a japanese invention, You can call me as brainless as you like because i really could not give a shit, You pointed out that this is a pirate site, but you lack reasoning on it being a pirate porn site, you forget that not all AVN's or VN's concentrate on sex, there are novels with no sex in them on this site, so your reasonig for this being a porn site falls flat, as for my opinion/comment that you dislike, it has merrit since this novel is completely full of inconsistencies, and a lot of the choices you are given have zero affect on the narrative, you are forced into slut making regardless of your choices. either define the different paths so the given choices make sence an actually influence the narrative ior make it a shitty kinetic/linear novel
