If he remakes it, which he should, he needs to get to the action quicker and have it more frequently. I liked it but found it dull as it went on, not a great deal really happened and I never foresaw anything really happening. Wasn't terrible by any standards though.

Does anyone know of any other forums they frequent or have frequented? Damn, I just want some official news... I can't accept the death of this product

So... with the demise of ShareCG (effective March 1st), one of my worst nightmares has materialized... many of the original Angelica Origins assets have been lost forever... some are still available on other communities (see Renderosity), but most are gone... I managed to recover some, but the lack of information has held me back irremediably (which I tried, in vain, to explain to Mike). It's like being at the bedside of a terminally ill patient... but this only makes my purpose even stronger... I'm depressed but determined not to give up. If anyone wants to help me or just support me, thank you; otherwise, I'll do it all myself. Sorry for the outburst.

When you say assets, what exactly do you mean? The models, music, backgrounds?

Just curious, if you don't wanna bother explaining, it's ok. I did some proofreading for Mike back in the day and really enjoyed Angelica, he managed to create a certain "Italian" feel to the whole thing, quite distinct from other games.

Models, mainly. ShareCG was a community where you could draw on many free models for DAZ Studio. Let me give you a practical example: some elements of Angelica's room were taken from a free model called 'Spring Bedroom' which, fortunately, is available as free stuff on Renderosity... while another element called 'Monster Rat' (which Angelica meets in the dungeon under the school and which Serafina kills) I no longer see anywhere... I have them, but I think other elements that I haven't been able to locate (and Mike has always refused to reveal) have been lost, I fear forever.

Is there anyone who can contact the developer? Is there absolutely no news? It's a real shame, and a waste of a potentially great product :(

I said ages ago they should have rehashed it. A remake with more sex, less nonsense (what I deem nonsense I might add). As stated the product was good, with a pretty loyal following, a decent looking protagonist. It shyed away from the sex element I felt, or was too slow by a mile with advancing it. I do hope they decide to restart with renewed images and story.

What are you guys talking about? The game is literally made on the knee. From all the developer's messages, as far as I understood, it is impossible to make a normal game under his conditions, he does not have enough patrons and will not have any. The game is practically dead, the developer himself is largely to blame, when people were interested in the game, he did not show due ingenuity for which he paid, even the scam guy Stoper makes an update at least once a year so that his patrons do not run away from him.

I'm definitely happy for him that he has a girlfriend, but bringing up COVID? That was five years ago, and we all felt the effects of the pandemic and the restrictions imposed in connection with it. It would be nice to hear more useful information about his goals, whether he's going to do anything with the game at all. We're all running around like squirrels in a wheel.
There are many developers who combine their full-time jobs with making their own games, releasing updates at least once a year, such as Stoper.
I know several Ukrainian developers who live in wartime conditions but release updates every 3-6 months. What Mike wrote is strange and only raises additional questions. I don't think we'll see an update to the game, but we can be happy for the man and wish him success and happiness in real life.

Maybe he was making the game in his parent's basement AND with their computer. (Men in Italy tend to move out from La Mamma in their thirties.)

Okay, I think I'm going to break the silence. This has gone too far. I hate scams and scammers. Look, Mike, many of us supported you so you could create your game and make a living from it. I was on the highest tier for a few months (more than I ever pay for AAA games). Have you had any problems? We all have. What's wrong is coming up with excuses at this point. Have you paused your subscription all these months while you've been playing on Steam and not dedicating time to the game you wanted to create, and many people were giving you money for it?. Yes, you've dedicated the (as you say) little time you had to playing on Steam instead of continuing with development. Please, if you're not going to get serious about your project, stop lying to people and close the Patreon page and end all this.

And this has been going on for over a year. A few minutes every two or three months, on RPGM, and then on to something else.
