Well, she's been fucked a few times now, so the ladder theory doesn't apply here. I think DeepSleep wants to put her in many situations, period, and he is acheiving that perfectly.

Like why isn't she dumping her boyfriend ? He is dumb as fuck, fucking bald, a loosy fucker and poor (and now we know Ashley has something to blackmail him also ... so he might be a fucking cheater ... such a bad boy to cheat on our Anna !). But without him there is not this feeling of cheating, and that's why this story is exciting. Plus, she only wants a normal life and to get that, she has to suck this fucking Jeremy because her friend, not Anna herself, did an illegal thnig ... But doesn't get punished like Anna who did nothing ... Please, for the sake of it, make her kill him.
I think it's a good update, with plenty fap material and only a few shortcuts. If she hadn't been drunk, she wouldn't have fuked with her neighbor, since he doesn't have any leverage. But now she will not remember it ... too easy.
Overall ... I was hard for 30 minutes and quit happy ... when I play Big Brother I play 2 hours and don't remember why I started and what I'm looking for.

This game would lose A LOT of its appeal in Ren'py.
The RPG part works for the drama... and your stamina.
AEA is like a good porn movie... not a good porn scene.
You can't just jump to another scene in 30 secs or 1 min... just because you don't care about the story and just want to click it away.
Anna's world is not so big to need Ren'py, like happened in A Wife & Mother.
So, at least for me, the RPG part is not a chore, or a drag... is a merciful rest.

Normally, I would agree... but here, the dev is doing it right.
In the game, there are just two characters that want her to submit... the rest, all like Anna so much, that they don't want to hurt her.
They don't want a one night stand either, so they need to treat her right.
Ashley is an asshole, so naturally, he skipped the "ladder"... and Jeremy wants a submissive whore, so she needs to LEARN and adapt.
Anna is this pure and sacred deer... you can't spook it, so they are walking on thin ice.
The only thing that Deep could have done better, like Nickfifa did in Elena's life... it's developing the relationships at different speeds, so we didn't have an update that feels like a blowjob tsunami.
I had the same problem. It's 11 steps left and 1 up, then you'll continue with the story and Anna will be visible again.

Ah, so it seems there is no hidden scene this time? That's too bad if true, but it was still a great update. Just a little on the short side like last time, but the quality of the content great.
But has anyone managed to have a 2nd event in the bar? On the first night Ethan (old bar patron's son) says a couple times if you work the bar on Monday, you should meet him in the back room to talk about the data. But the events at Jeremy's house seem to be the end of the day. Maybe there's a way to trigger those scenes before then?

Man, lusting after someone doesn't mean you have to be an asshole.
Nobody is in love with Anna in the game, yet. (The fucking boyfriend does not count)
So, yeah, they are treating her with some respect... but they are predators, so if they see a weak spot, they attack.
But never in such a way that it could harm their relationship.
That's how you get someone addicted.
You don't make them overdose in their first time.
Jeremy and Ashley don't follow this rules, they are assholes.
Both are blackmailing her... but she's a feisty gal, so they have to be aware.
They can't simply break her arse... they have to take their time so she ends up surrendering HERSELF.
You want a quick fuck or a slave? This two characters want a slave.
About the remorse and guilt part...
You remember the part of the car accident, right? That's the excuse this game has so she can go full slut.
There is something broken inside of her... something that was not there before, at less no that much.

Tbh i rather have some nicely rendered scenes of Anna driving in a cab from A to B and having some thought-monologue about past events or future developements on the way to give her more depth... or even some sleazy Bus molesting scenes while getting from said A to B instead of running through a mostly empty town ehere i have sometimes need to look at that stupid map.jpg to know where to go in the first place. If done right the running around while nothing happens part can be replaced with something similar and meaningful in Ren'py.

This is not the real problem with RPGM. The problem appears when you want or have to play a game again because the game crashed, your savefile is lost, you want to do a different route etc.. With Renpy it is easy to skip all the parts you already know, but not so with RPGMs. Its a hell of a cock blocker, if you first need to click for an hour just to see 5 Minutes of new stuff.
