This is one of the rare first versions I finished in one sitting and that means there's some quality upsides (graphics, language, UI, mechanics) present here. That being said, I know honest takes are usually appreciated and reading other comments here encouraged me to voice my opinion as well.
- I thought mechanically the prolog was rather interesting because it combined the openness of a point & click sandbox with a clear, central (but "good"? see below) narrative. That being said, after seeing the teasers, I'm curious how this will be maintained throughout the rest of the game since my expectation is it won't be with the promise that this is a single-time linear experience to introduce mechanics that'll open up later. I'm worried it'll feel very different, but I'm open to being impressed. Also, I hope I didn't imagine this, but at least once the game reacted to me scrolling back which is quite amazing and used very rarely. I liked that a lot.
- The writing linguistically is good for sure - it's so nice to read good English in the first version already, however I felt uneasy about the whole narrative build-up.
- Graphically many renpy games these days are experimenting with filters and fancy lighting effects. None of that here while the renders still look good and ultrasharp. A surprise for sure and a unique-ish style. The game feels more advanced, professional and polished than on average. It helps I don't recognize these characters from other games either.
- I assume there's going to be more sound later. The music that's there is comfy which is a plus.
I have strong feelings about the narrative, but I still finished the prolog wondering about what's next despite that and I hope my first impressions are welcome and put charitably enough.
1. I think they're manipulative narcissists who get off on emotional blackmail. It's indeed possible Martin's journal was planted which would turn this game into a psychological horror story that actually makes sense this time.
2. They dissuade you from going for sexual action at first so then you, motivated and fooled by the redhead's cute and pure appearance, trick yourself into thinking you need to be romantic and chivalric and really mean it with one girl, only to find out later they all just want to use you as a toy. Wew, thx wahmen.
TL;DR:
- Mechanically: some nice things, reservations about future releases
- English: good
- Story: really inconsistent, fake choices, beta virtue-signaling MC who blames the previous guy for sexual feelings he has himself, jumps to the conclusion without character arcs nor bonding, girls as written so far are control freaks who use you, manipulative narcissists and have a track record of blaming (multiple) failed relationships on the guy despite preferring to screw around and not committing to a guy, thrash your feelings, emotionally blackmail you and announce your possible cucking... Run!
- Graphics: sharp and new models
- Sound: not much but okay

I read this post and your review and the only point where I disagree with you is you're too charitable towards the characters:

i cant stand the mc, way too beta. im not even saying every mc has to be gigachad thundercock but even my most super introverted meganerd friend i played tabletops with could talk to women without stuttering every time, awkward silence is the more likely scenario.

When she was in the kitchen talking with MC, she says that MC should to talk with both daughters.
So, choose to go to speak with Alex in her room.
Then, go back to speak with Sophia; this time in the living room.
Now, being careful and bold, you can ask her about her pants, and then ... enjoy the scene.

I have to agree with most of previous posters.
I'm fucking stunned by the sudden twist of sceenario and the cuteness of the leading ladies.
Really, really good for a prologue and I truly hope the continued work will beat this rocket launching turn of events!

i honestly dont mind similar games. As long as they have newer looking models. Its a great formula, so its bound to be copied, but if they have new models and a small boobed character, ill never get tired of peeking in on people getting changed untill i can bust in and they like it. now if only we could get away from 'giant tit milf character.' And if a milf character is absolutly necessary, a medium or small boob milf character, like in fake family.

Another game with a college age guy with female roomates. I'm so fucking tired of the premise, even just reading, "college," in the overview gives me an intense allergic reaction where my entire back becomes covered in sweat, and my dick shrivels to a ridiculously small size and becomes intensely hot, to the point of steaming.
