yea Von changed the artstyle from the ground up.Do you mean the second Chapter alone? If I'm not mistaken, it was around 4 months actually. Also, the circumstances were quite different, too.
I would guess that if they are 50% done with the outline it needs another month for the 100%
script is 20%, so I assume maybe 8 weeks.
not sure how much coding the project needs tbh.
Art probably needs a fair bit of time for prompting.
and then we got proofreading, 2 weeks maybe.
anything between 2 months and 4 months is realistic.
I hope it's not 4, despite Ch. 2 being quite extensive it would be a shame if the earliest we got the new chapter would be April.
And if that is the case I would also be wondering about how long the project would need in general. I mean ofc producing a game takes a while, especially if you want to do it to people's (and your own) satisfaction, but I would really love to have a bi-monthly or quarterly release schedule. That would give the project some consistency of progress. Enough to provide a good amount of content, enough to deliver quality. Enough so people don't loose interest.
Ik some people might say that people who loose interest are idiots, but life tends to get busy and a lot can happen in 4 months. I think it's worth thinking about not just the ride-or-die people who were here at day 1 and supported, but also the people just stumbling upon this or checking in once in a while and think about how to keep them coming back.
