you see come inside were a game where it was closer to what might had happend in real life probably the dev felt so
and he stop The Models SO AWESOME the Story SO GREAT sadly he left it
Something about Mother Get to close to her son and kinda used him when he was younger with the name of Love something closer to that so he couldn't forgive her and ofc you pick if the mc still think about her or nha
:WaitWhat:
(probably a language thing:BootyTime:)

he isnt asking "what come inside is about (regarding story/plot)" yet "why the user above mentioned that game at the first place" ie why that game can be linked to this one.

to cut it short - come inside is one of kinda famous abandoned games.
an old story now - talented dev, good game start, then milking started, there wasnt an update for two years, yet the dev still regularly provides "previews" and wallpapers on his patreon.
ofc, his support has dropped significantly, yet regardless he stll has patrons despite there wont be any game anymore and he is only producing one-two "wallpapers" per month.
that would be it, no more, no less.

the user who had mentioned "come inside" probably tried to point out prolonged dev cycle here...

I think this is a problem with VN's in general.
There is a lot of "Half-Life 3" moments though people don't donate to Valve for it.
On the other hand, most devs are lonely warriors. So there is a reasonable lag of updates because life.
I can't say about the game mentioned but yes, this looks like a dud.

The initial state of VN's is easy, mostly. The problem starts when they get larger, more choices, more renders. There is a big gap between ambition and realistic deliverance. So most give up later on.
Happens all the time.

I agree.

I'm still hoping that HL3 will come one day... but to compare it with Valve. They don't need it, Valve doesn't need to proof anything because they are already legendary when it comes to games and they deffo don't need donations if they ever want to create a new game. And they did HL: Alyx which is imo the best VR game made till this day.

But yes, they all start motivated and after a while they realize it's too hard to deliver (especially when you're on your own), so they lose interest to complete the game and comes to a point that they just give up. It's the biggest problem with all these VN's.

Think the biggest chance to complete a game is to work in a team to keep each other in check.

Yes I remember this game, I played it.
Come inside was released 4 years ago, was updated 3 years ago, apocalypse lover just celebrated 1 year.
The days when it will be developed full time I would understand the complaints, but with the job it's only part time is even less than that.

But beware, I understand that people can be disappointed and I like this way of changing points of view.
Really I would like to tell you that AL is in full time development because the lore is already thought big.
For half life 3, however, I can't do anything :ROFLMAO:

I'm fine with the pace of this game considering your current situation and the circumstances. As long as nothing is promised and not delivered on. As long as there's transparency. Everything else is void unless I'm paying you, which I'm not. I will wait patiently for your updates and your vision on your game. If you decide to stop developing it, that's fine too.

it's been a whole year after one actual release (as the two after were fixes). i'm impressed you remain active and held audience to the discussion while there only having one instance of the game for players to reference to. but the game is different from most VNs here. hoping you pull through

Yeah everybody's been waiting. Even a couple mins of game play would be nice..
hell no, after a year of development, you'd want at least as much as the first release if not a little less. not minutes, that's desperate simp level sentiments

I really hope one day to tell you the game is being developed full time, because there is so much to tell, the lore (in broad outline (I hope this is said in English) was created a long time ago + 10 years, with spin off potential as inspiring and interesting as the main game.
20 years of inspiration from great video games, tv shows or movies have helped shape and build the bases of apocalypse lovers.
But whatever happens the game will go to its terms without being sloppy.

the dilemma of wanting to make quality work but in order to achieve that; needing a lot of time - so it goes. if what you're saying is that you have years work of written lore then half of your work is done? is it that you need to write it narratively/creatively that is taking you so much time or is it the technical features and 3d editing that's the heavy work?

Of course, 3d editing and coding is the biggest part of the job, writing it, the main lines of the story are written, but it remains to write how to put it all in place, in what order, in a coherent way and above all who enthuses the players that he feels invested in the world of games, whether he is completely fascinated by games as in front of a good series, a good film or a video game.

This requires research from time to time for it to be coherent, for example reading articles or wikis on druidism, the army, military equipment, is much more than that when a subject is approached in the game everything exists in the real as in the legendary.

As the matter of fact, there is a small Lesbian route, but not with the MC as a female character of course ^^

There is a lesbian character which is already implemented actually. And she will even be introduced in the next update.
