I believe the U.S. Navy may have been experiencing higher officer casualty rates in the immediate lead up to the apocalypse. That tends to shorten promotion timelines.

mc has somehow traveled from japan to the us after apocalypse alone ... most definetly he isn't someone to be judged by comon sense and it's a game so realism should take some liberty like with the polen allergy killing off humanity >< when comparing those two "fact" a couple years more or less aren't that big of a deal ^^ just be glad he isn't a 18 years old suprem commander of a hidden governemental agency which control the world with cofee (can't remember the game i'm refering to but yep there's one that can be summarized like that Oo)

As a disclaimer, I wouldn't bother with supportive backstory critiques approaching internal lore-consistency if not for the fact that I got the sense that the dev really gets deep into his project and its connective lore tissue. I respect that immensely (as I'm sure many of you do) and merely wanted to give a little hipfire-outside thoughts on the matter. I really like this game. I'm not here to tear it down, as some people may assume. Further discussion in this regard has left the public thread. Again, not here to undermine the game, I enjoy it.
i mostly took the oportunity to throw stone on those dozens story about 18yo super special overpowered governemental agent that rule the world from the shadow T_T WITH FREACKING COFFEE !!! ><
but honestly i find it more realistic to have a "pollen allergy extinction event" than ruling the world with coffee ... at least dev has a nice reasonning beind it making it sound realistic, hereditary spy family that found a shadow governement with coffee ... however you sugar coat it that's complete bullshit, and about mc's age there's enough ingame justification and probably is aslo due to dev aiming to ease player's immerssion by not making mc older by too much ^^

I came for the boobs, and stay for the stories. I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic/disaster story so this is game hit a sweet spot for me.
Just finished playing the initiative route, which is a nice change of pace.
Kinda plays nice she's still not corrupted enough (or aware enough of what she's doing) and you can get your way in the inspection scene.
I think I just like this path better, willing and corruptible better than submissive and usable.

Yes, of course, it is possible. Specifically, with the main female character (Jessica by default), you can build a deep and emotional relationship while rejecting the advances of other women. However, if you choose this path, be aware that it will significantly reduce the amount of sexual content currently available in the game. Since Jessica is a young, naive virgin, her deflowering is not meant to happen immediately. Sexual content with her is therefore limited, as it takes time to win her over without breaking her.
At the moment, there are already several sexual scenes with Jessica, but some of them, if taken too far, lead to early endings (she either commits suicide or runs away). This ensures realism and prevents me from having to develop too many branching storylines that would deviate from the main narrative I intend to unfold. That said, many erotic or sexual scenes with her do not lead to early endings (as long as she doesn't see your genitals or there is no penetration), such as examining her chest in detail under the guise of a medical examination, ejaculating on her back under the pretense of applying sunscreen, or ejaculating on her while she sleeps.
However, I want to clarify that what I just explained applies only to the content currently present in the game, as Chapter 3 will introduce a completely different dynamic with Jessica and a significant evolution in your relationship with her.
You're exaggerating, haha! But yes, it's true that sometimes it happens, never with the main female character though. Jessica is for player only. But for the other female characters, depending on the player's choices, it’s possible that a woman the player is pursuing could end up sleeping with someone else willingly or not. After all, it’s the Apocalypse, and the player character isn’t a superhero—women don’t just fall into his arms unrealistically. He’ll have to fight for what he desires and make rational choices to achieve his goals.
