Never asked him to rewrite the game. I think as an artist it's foolish to needlessly alienate half your audience by delving into politics.
And for an artist that may be a good habit if it is the paying half of the audience that stays:p
Besides Tim has stated often that he isn't in this for the money, so he probably couldn't care less.

Bold move of you to assume it's alienating half the audience.

Being politically neutral guarantees more fans.
Or of you to assume he's alienating anyone or there's an actual political stance.

It's a post-apocalyptic scenario focused on porn & humor - obviously government will be painted in a ridiculous light, no matter which one is. Don't really think Obama, Dubya, Clinton - or whoever comes after Trump - would fare any better if the dev made this particular game years in the past or future.

For me it feels more like a number of people got triggered at the mention of Trump in an unflattering but superficial way than anything. But then i'm not american, so i guess a number of things may just fly over my head and even when not it's not like i'm emotionally invested on any side anyway, so feel free to correct me.

Weird image glitch...
Where's that scene? I'm pretty sure that glitch or not i never met that guy.

It's one of the three outdoor scenes. To trigger them, you must visit Lena at the command center during the day and tell her you are ready to explore the land.

Three? Going outside for the first time with Bella or Penny counts as two separate scenes or one with two different characters inserted? Just checking...

Just had a look at the game. Not bad but the politics needs to go. I mean seriously I get it the developer hates Trump. Please hit me over the head a few dozen more times about how horrible Trump is. Using your creation as a pulpit for your political beliefs is cheap. Just give me a good story without racial/political bs and I'll be fine. Why is that so hard to do today?
I didnt get the feel that the dev was poking fun at just Trump, it seems the other political factions are also going to be the butt of the joke in equal measure.

This game is fun. I like this.
Can I request a sex scene where the MC uses his Rod of Powah on the First Lady and the President stumbles in so she tells him to "sit down and watch a real man make me cum for the first time other than the Mexican Gardener (Jesus) or Ugandan Guide (he knos da wey)?"

Yes, but the other factions do not (so far) reference real life people, not to mention it does give a "final boss" vibe, so there's that too, i guess.

I've seen a reference to Hillary (think something along the lines of you can shot pictures of trump or Hillary in the shooting range). Personally i'd just change the names to something more comical, so we all know its based on real life people but the game doesn't directly acknowledge it.

I think some are overeacting, im certain the whole game and all characters are going to be made fun of by the time its all said and done.

Honestly i don't really care and prefer the way it is, but then i'm not american and cynical due to a little too much experience with political activism, so considerably more thick-skinned than any potentially offendable parts anyway.

No, not really.
Of the party that's crying foul here, it's been a very vocal minority. Inside that parties own beliefs how many of them do you actually think play these types of games ? It's an even smaller subset than the 50% of the populace split you've applied to the voting populace. Of that split how many do you think have their stuff in a craw over parody or satire ?

You see your math is pretty substanitively flawed when you start looking at it. It's not alienating half of the audience. It's alienating only those who cannot fathom that you can have satire and porn in the same thing. It's literally no different than watching a dang Brazzers video at that point.

Not only that but its assuming the entire audience is American and that the audience is so invested in their country's politics that even satire is just far far too offensive and somehow feel alienated by it. If a fun over the top porn game makes you feel alienated then...well thats just kinda sad for you.
