It could be an issue with corrupted files from download, in which case I'd advise to download again.
If that doesn't fix it, it looks like some scaling issue with the font. You can try to delete/rename the persistent file (it has no extension) in:
C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\area69-6969696921\persistentThis should reset your settings to default (this will also include unlocked scenes in the gallery, though).
Other than that, I'm not sure what could cause your issue. Try those 2 solutions and let us know if it doesn't fix it. The dev sometimes pops in and he might have a better idea what it is.

Hello!
Sorry for the delay and lack of information. I'll briefly explain the problem I had:
After a severe hailstorm, the entire interior gutter on my roof broke, flooding the entire house, ruining the entire new ceiling.
I had to temporarily move all the furniture to my parents' house, redo half the roof, and just when it seemed like everything was resolved, after another downpour, I discovered leaks everywhere.
I just got the PC back online today, bringing all the furniture back... I still need to repaint all the repairs and fix a leak I discovered yesterday, but that's a different topic...
Between today and tomorrow, I'll finish arranging the furniture, plugging in all the electrical appliances, and on Monday I'll resume development. I estimate I had between 10 and 15 days left to finish, but on Monday I'll do a review and give you more information...
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, I'll be responding to each and every one of you who asked me about the game's status, either privately or through posts...
Sorry for the delay again and for the lack of information, but I just got my work PC back online today...

Hi guys, I read about 100 posts and still can't seem to find one with a comprehensive list of the different paths, which ones are mutually exclusive and what are the triggers for each. Due to this I am not sure if I am missing any content I can go back and re-play. Any guidance is highly appreciated, here is where I am at the moment.

It is Pokemon style VN, no mutually exclusive paths, You're presented at certain point, in how you want to expierence the Story, as the "Chosen human" or as a "Vampire" or as a "Werewolf" you must even progress paths to progess other ones.

To further what xapican said, there are no exclusive paths... except for choosing to stay human, turning vampire/werewolf. These are exclusive, though they barely have any impact on the story for now (just a few different renders/options in some scenes, like the sex scenes when you masturbate in your room).
We don't know yet if those quests will have more exclusive content based on whether you're human/vampire/werewolf, but almost certainly we'll get different renders, at least, meaning there will be werewolf exclusive renders, vampire exclusive ones, human exclusive ones, although they will quite likely just be variants of the same scene.
Other than that, some quests require you to advance other quests first (though there's no indication of that) but they're not exclusive, it's just a sort of time gate.

There is barely any grinding at all. You need to have 10 gym sessions to max your strength/fitness, but you'll mostly do that anyway following the quests. Same for classes where you have to attend 10 for it. Same for computing, which you do in your computer. And you need some money for some stuff, but not that much anyway.
Other than that, mom/sis require affection to unlock better scenes, but it's not hard to grind. A couple other characters also have affection checks, but lower ones, and most characters don't use affection for anything at all.
Mostly you'll be limited early on by your energy. Later, with access to some drugs, you can go on days without sleeping.
If even so you feel it's too much grinding, you can always use my mod (I find my mod is mostly useful just for the energy management, so you can stay awake longer or lower it so you can sleep.
Other than those things (which sound like a lot but really aren't), most quests don't have requirements other than the previous steps being complete and some quests require other quests to complete first (like Sharp Fangs requiring the Jeckyll/Hyde quest to advance first so you can access the alley/club).
So if a quest says something like "I should wait a few days" or you should talk to someone that isn't there, you either advance it by sleeping in your room (just advancing the time isn't enough, sleeping is what triggers the quest change) or by completing other quests first.
Most of them are linear, you can just choose which you want to advance first or at all.

Hi everyone, managed to complet all quests apart from very close encounters and sharp fangs, I'm stick at the point of finding the alien book however I can't find in the shop and I can't seem to get anywhere exploring the school. Any help would be appreciated

Have you triggered the scene with Lily in the book shop? It's a small scene and she will give you the alien book. Then you need to head to your bedroom and read it.
i havent seen it but i get the scene with lily in the back room of the book shop

how does personality works? do you get extra scenes being bad? it affects the ending? or the quests and relationships with the girls?

I also had an issue where I couldn't trigger the alien book in the bookstore when I replayed this game.
