Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that, for shits and giggles, I've been working on a little project for this game since this whole quarantine for covid19 started. It's just something for me to pass the time while this whole mess is over.
I've been wanting to replay this great game for a while now but I wanted my second play through to feel fresh. So using Illusion's AI-Shoujo's Studio Neo engine, I've been creating new CGs that resemble those in the original game and then putting my own spin to them. This could be called a "Reskin Texture Pack" I guess. I tried my best to match the outfits with what I had available. So this is the model that I made for Fran:
This is how she looks in game:
Here's her battle pose:
Her standing pose will be the same for all outfits (because of the way the face system works) but her battle pose will be different for each outfit.
Out of the 394 total CGs that I'm going to replace from the original, I have 338 done. So there's 56 more to go. I'll probably finish the rest by the end of this month and then I'll see if I'll release this pack for you guys if you're interested.

On some, I tried my best to match the original:
And on some, it looks very different (where maybe the narration won't match quite what is happening on screen but who cares)

That's so cool man! I've been wanting to play this game again for some time now and it's really good to see other people who also enjoy this game. Those CG's look's pretty good actually. How's your progress so far?

i'm actaully fan of the original artwork, but ain't say no to such a neat style. ( i like how u kept the innocent look of Fran)

Thanks man. Illusion's AI-Shoujo renders do have a pretty neat style. Can't wait to see what their new Honey Select 2 engine will look like.

So this is turning out better than I expected so I probably will release this pack to the forum. I have two more series to go to finish this project. That's 28 CGs left out of 394 total. I was thinking of calling it "3D CG Pack". Anybody have a better name lol?

This is pretty cool. If you ever get into coding you should consider adding bad ends to the game, like endings where the protag ends up abandoning their quest and gets into a relationship with a minor character, like the guy at the bar in the first town.
All done! So here it is. My Ariadne 3D CG Pack v03:
Extract Ariadne_3D_CG_Pack_v03.rar and place Graphics folder in Ariadne's Graphics folder. Overwrite png's in Battlers and Pictures folder.
It replaces some of the 2D art with 3D renders that I created with Illusion's AI-Shoujo and edited in Photoshop.
