It's the buildup man. Gotta enjoy the story and the progression through it. Very few people completely change who they are in a single day. It takes time.. and growth.. or being slowly corrupted. Ari has done some VERY fast moves already.. but some of them still take time. Enjoy the ride.

I don't see any business here. Maybe you can live with that amount of money per month, but I can't.

I know a lot of games that can be considered as a business because they are making more than $6000/month. With that amount you are swimming in money!

I'm kinda hoping there will be route where Ari actually starts enjoying Smiths commands and demands and gets really into it, doing it because she want's to, not because he's threatening or blackmailing her. But I guess we'll have to see what Sylvie comes up with.

I don't think so, because there was now possibility, refuse, to execute the order, so I'm also wondering what's next.

You have really nice game - with great potential!
There are not many $6000/month games - they all started small.
On the other hand there are way more 'abandoned' tags.

Still no mention of saves not working on the renpytom Twitter feed, or lemmasoft forum (that I can find, anyway)
There are lots of major changes, so I'm not surprised old saves don't work . . . what's puzzling is that some saves work, some load, but in the wrong spot, and some cause an error.

Could be the new renpy version causing problems especially with older machines like my dinosaur PC, my old saves didn't work, happy to start again as I like the game (looking forward to telling Frank to fuck off again) and I can't play a lot of the new games and updates which is annoying, anyway just a thought as I know virtually nothing about this coding malarkey

I had to go back to almost the start of the previous update to get them working because that was the only saves I had other than right at the end, but as Sylvie said it's with the new renpy version. I've had it happen with almost all games updated and released recently.

Same, any game that is using the updated Ren'Py.

I save at every choice, and the start of most new scenes. I learned a long time ago from Sierra, Save Early, Save Often, and under many slots, you never know when you may have missed something, and have to go back.

Renpy machine was updated this month and because of that some saves (in every game using Renpy) don't work. This is something that we, the devs, are not responsible. Sorry.

Do you think a heads-up might have been in order? By doing so, you let us know that you are aware that your tools are changing and that access to saves might be more difficult. Can you see where that might have been more helpful?

Yeah, it happened to everyone, Ren'Py didn't say it would be a problem either, and so far don't seem to be talking about it. So, no one really knew about it until it was too late.

No worries . . . it's frustrating for all of us. Of the 18 saves I had from testing, I only had to delete 6. Four others loaded, but in the wrong place (earlier in the code). I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, but it's still irritating.

And, in case anybody doesn't know, when you mouseover a save, you can hit <Delete> while that slot is highlighted . . . just learned that, today
