Oi, you are talkin' like commies mate. How come?

Jokes aside, if you played the game, you already knew how stupid it sounds. Stop making excuses for others please. Everyone with decent amount of intelligence find it idiotic, illogical, beyond stupid even. Anyway, you are not doing any favors to developer or writer here; we should show their mistakes and slap some sense into them. Even if they don't bother to fix this specific issue, perhaps next time...

Note: May be I'm exaggerating your intentions, you simply don't know how serious trust issues work. Well, I do and it is nothing to do with being a good or bad person. I can explain how they actually think and act with examples, I can also give you bad person with trust issues and good person with trust issues examples as well... if you ask reeeaaallly nicely.
Just because I disagree with your reasoning, and apparent emotional adolescence, doesn't mean I'm wrong. You're entitled to your (wrong) opinion, just like I am. Check yourself.

Fuck no!
You really want Cass to have success with the stolen Code?
if it wouldnt put AI in a bad light i would suggest hunter to malfunction and kill them all, just for Arti to be there and save the day(world) like Terminator style.

thats a nice thought that i would approve.
or Artemis tries "handshake" with Hunter and something unforseen happens, like broadcasting everything illegal and shady deals TWRR is doing so they get shut down and put behind bars
Can we insert, Hunter humping Cassies leg, and licking her across the face, just to after run barking to TWRR Ceo and lift his leg and ruin his designer pants ? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Ah, another thing I'd like to see, since Kandice said she thinks Kindra is brilliant but not brilliant enough to finish her parents' project (clearly referring to Artemis), is that the three of them go to dinner with Kandice. Like, “Meet the cause of the blackout.”

Someone, has brought up this topic, already, seems that Kandice, hopes for a breaktrough, because one of her Twin daughters died, and she want's Artemis to insert the personality of her dead daughter, so I'm pretty confident that, that will happen eventually

It is more than emotional adolescence, it is a sign of times and what society teaches new (and old, even mine already was like that but not in the extent it is today, 50 yo btw) generations everyday in real and virtual space, that material trumps emotional connections. I'm not a commie or whatever that means but I really despise this whole overly competitive capitalist mentality world and what it makes humans do to other humans.

Bro its more related to laws and Society than capitalism

do you feel the same about laws in general? Like we don’t need them and should just feel whats right?

Realisticly Kindra and Aiden don’t even know each other this close and have really no clue if their values are the same

Its better for a friendship/emotional Connection too (even more when work and private life clash) to establish agreements before conflict arises

I basically agree with pitao . However, it seems to me that we are going to look for realism in a story where there is an android dog built by teenagers, a military android, and an android who is becoming human but losing his arms.

More complex is the laws and amount of it more sickness a society shows itself. I follow most of the laws even some I don't agree with, clearly I don't follow them all or I wouldn't be here on this site hahaha. But yes I consider myself a person that respect the laws in general, but that wasn't my point anyway.

It was the value and some considering it stupid/illogical and whatever people that value much more emotional over ownership and concern of protecting their "rights", and I felt it a bit personally because I would behave almost exactly like Aiden did in that matter if I had experienced what he did. Seems I'm stupid and illogical but I would say that I'm simply....human and not perfect and make illogical decisions sometimes and same with the MC, I love that he isn't perfect.

I already said that i dont think its a big deal in the avn even if i would prefer it a bit different but im allowed to give an answer to a stupid statement like "everyone who wants some established rules regarding a groundbreaking crazy project is kinda adolescent and youre a better human being if you just do what your emotions (or lazyness) tell you" lol

And its not related to "our society today" as the user claimed, they did stuff like that already in rome and earlier.

Telling people they should just start to become "good people" and get over "their trust issues and work on themself" and if they are unable to achieve that, they are adolescent no matter what happened to them is such a fucked up mindest and so far away from being "a good person" ... (this was another poster whose way worse).

Maccabbee morally upstanding solution to treat people with depression is to tell them to "get over it" and otherwise they are adolescent  and he sees himself as a good guy for this opinion lmao

Just a little example how emotions/feelings are very different from person to person and therefore established rules and guidelines are necessary.

And i hate the "this is sci-fi (or fantasy) therefore is no need for realism" argument with every fiber of my being or would you be fine with aiden riding flying unicorns instead of driving cars? Doesnt matter there are androis too right?

Edit: pitao i did not mean to imply that everyone not considering stuff like that is stupid or illogical. Its always good to have some safety nets but of course not always necessary. But this isnt about doing your buddy a favor or even giving him a loan, its a groundbreaking scientific achievment and lots of people will try to get their hands on this stuff from out and inside the company.

Imo its more about fighting for Artemis rights and her future than about being egoistic or greedy.

But maybe Aiden just doesnt have a lot of agency and is fine with whatever Kindra may decides, thats a possibility too.

Edit 2: i will shut up about this stuff now, this topic has overstayed its time and is really not important enough and i think people start to get annoyed

Where did this Aiden doesn't trust Kindra came from ? by the way ?
I have no idea and I'm already regretting by giving my 2 cents on it hahaha because it is a pointless discussion that goes nowhere with 2 or more different points of view that will never agree with each other besides to agree to disagree and longer it goes nastier will become. Well anyway I won't feed this discussion anymore .

I didn't say that. I said that it's not necessary to seek realism in every sentence or behavior. Realism. Realism in relation to what? For whom? This is very relative. It depends on where you live, how you are used to living, what experiences you have had. The realism of an American is very different from the realism of a Greek or the realism of a Chilean.

Its from their partner talk but its not about Aiden not trusting kindra but about his trust issues in general. I would assume theres nobody he trusts more than kindra but June and maaaybe Claire.
I think, Aiden has more of a trauma, than trust issues, for example I interpreted his rejection of a partship, as a "logical" result of his strained selfesteem, feeling himself not worthy, to get the 50%, sure there are more personal factor influencing his decision. As you pointed out already.

That could play a big factor too (maybe even the main one) yeah, tried to take a closer at the scene again just now but all my savegames this early are borked :cautious: his confidence has definitely crumbled.

I suspected that in a earlier post too, that he may doesnt deem himself worthy enough to demand rights for himself which may could be something Claire could still help him with. This could explain why he may doesnt want to be responsible for decisions regarding Artemis future as he figures his decisions are shitty and kindra knows best anyway lol

Don't worry it wasn't you who said it was stupid and illogical, I respect the way you argument even though I don't agree with all of it. It was the member I originally quoted on my first post about it (I backtracked to the first post they did on the topic and quoted it) and the post that says stupid and illogical was what triggered Maccabbee to mention the "emotional adolescence" post haha. Anyway just wanted to assure you it wasn't you I was mentioning, moving on----dead topic for me.
