When you decided to start a fresh playthrough did you kept the persistent file that was there before even though not using the old saves? Dunno, if you did kept it try to do what I did in my test, move your current save folder in the game install and in the System drive usually C:/Users/(your user name)/appdata/roaming/Renpy folder then move the artemis folder there also to a safe place (if don't work you can always put them back). What will do is create a new save folder with a "fresh" default persistent file, of course you lose the text seen the settings and gallery entries etc etc but maybe something in your old persistent file is causing the bug.

I believe so, but I downloaded the mod for this version(it said) and just crashes. Tried it four times now. About to try it one more time after restarting my computer completely.

Edit: Well, the saves still won't work but at least it made it through the first scene this time when I tried to start over.

I was doing a complete replay on a new laptop of 6.1. I thought it was because something went wrong from my 5.1 save. I broke my new laptop and downloaded 6.1 on an old laptop with 5.1 and it starts me over from the beginning just like my new laptop did. Anyone else have the same thing happen?

Hey, i wasn't able to use old saves so i decided to redo everything. No problem the game is a blast, but... first free roam in Kindra apt, and it was bugged... can't click on the phone Lidar, can't clic on the fridge, can't go on bed side to see the window and end the free roam, so i'm blocked... any suggestion ??......

I had the exact same issue, except I couldn't even click on the bathroom or collect anything.

After trying everything else, including deleting and redownloading, what finally worked was deleting my Artemis saves folder from AppData\Roaming\RenPy.
You may have to delete and redownload the game, or at least reunpack the .rar, because some of the saves are in the game directory after launching it the first time.

I don't care what the reason is, I own this on Steam. Why the hell am I seeing this here sooner than on Steam? This is one of the reasons why I no longer purchase games until they are in their final form.

Update: I have reported this issue and got a prompt response from the mod "You only wasted it if you deleted it... As you can just build yourself the Linux version with the renpy SDK."
Of course, I can build a spaceship and fly to Mars. Or I can learn programming and computer graphics and create my own game. But why do you write Linux in the OP if it is only the Windows version? And if it is a mistake it needs to be fixed, not telling the ppl to go learn RenPy SDK.

It's not hard, it would have taken you less than 5 minutes to build it, and ZERO ROCKET SCIENCE involved, ZERO coding knowledge needed, it is plain dead simple to do. There are other things on Linux that let you run Windows programs.

I literally do this for every compressed version I do, even if there is no Mac I still build Mac as it's literally 2 button presses.

There are great guides on this site.. Once you know how to do it, you will never ask for Linux/Mac version again.

Because v0.6 was Win/Linux, but for some reason they released v0.6.1b as Windows only, and I stated that a few pages ago.

In the OP in Split section it says Win/Linux. But when I download 18.6 f*cking Gb, it is just a Windows version.

It would have probably been easier to maybe look up what the Renpy SDK was first before whining. So I'm going to have to agree with the mods on this one. Though while you can easily make your own Linux distribution of the game like they suggested (emphasis on easy... as in a monkey with a brain injury can do it), some larger projects like Artemis can take quite a long time to rebuild. So I would probably just use the Renpy SDK as a launcher instead.

The good news is that the Renpy SDK can launch Renpy game distributions regardless of what platform they were built for. Download the

, then download the Windows or Mac version of Artemis (it doesn't matter which one), extract it into into your Renpy SDK folder. If you did everything right, you should be able to run renpy.sh and see _ARTEMIS in the menu on the left. Problem solved.

I'm just a few minutes into the new chapter, and I really just cannot get over how good these renders are, the writing, everything. The facial expressions alone are just so... lifelike. Like, they looks so natural, none of that preconfigured-Daz3D-facial-expression-number-5 kind of stuff. It's so engrossing.

Book One is an introductory installment with three Books in the works that will be released as DLC.


"Books", this is Book 2 and is chapter 6, hence v0.6. So, no you do NOT own this on Steam because it is not out yet to purchase on Steam.
