yeah i apologize for inconvenience caused on my part
Nah no worries, I'm glad it is solved for you :). That is also why we have a game thread, one of the things I enjoy doing is trying to solve issues players have with the games on whatever I have knowledge to help, since I'm so bad about game theory discussion lol this is a thing I can contribute, just wish sometimes players give more detailed information when they have issues. It is hard when we are not seeing what you are seeing.

I see, well the one you got with Mega link (there is no mega link for v0.6.1 in the OP) is the old one and yes that build has errors with the SD cards, check the changelog in the OP. It was a known bug but that was why v0.6.1b is bugfixes plus a new main menu that was still rendering (think it unlocks either when finish chapter 5 or 6 not sure, already had played chapter 6 when installed it, but I made a test run without my saves and persistent data like it was a totally fresh game and the main menu was different) when Digi.B released v0.6.

Always check what version you are playing before saying the game is bugged, it was, tested v0.6.1b without my persistent file and all run well like many times I said. There may have bugs that I didn't encounter but not those mentioned.

Ok but what version it says either in main menu right top corner or in the left bottom corner "about" button. Maybe you are running v.0.6 like the one the poster above yours shown.
It was .6 - I do use Mega because I don't want a download that takes hours. But couldn't have here. No idea why it was like that when it was when it was last updated.

Yeah I understand, I do the same. GoFile is my most used one then maybe Mediafire and Workupload and Pixeldrain in that order. Mega I use mostly for mods downloads, but I have a VPN and change servers after pausing the download if I need to download more than the daily limit.

Just hope it gets solved the issues and errors you were having, want to see "happy players" here  :ROFLMAO: .

Nothing seen in "print" that I could find - wanted to see how far back I had to go to get the Paige scene and ended up just restarting from my seed (gone through all of the intro stuff, named the character, up to the first decision that seems to have any impact).

The problem I had going from the seed is that the persistent didn't recognized any text before Chapter 4 as "previously seen", so it was either complete replay or "skip unseen text". Also turned off the mini-games, so the only "time consuming" things were the three free-roams. When I went to play Chapter 6, none of my Chapter 5 saves would load - even with the "save fixer', but Chapter 4 would. After some issues I'd seen in earlier releases, I started saving at the end of each chapter for all of my routes, then doing a new save when I started the next chapter. Has helped as I've discovered some of the convoluted things that get done in this VN.

anyone else thinks lack of quarters on moms tombstone and the conversation mc has with kindra about black ops secrecy are hints that mc mom could be alive? and maybe we find out about it when mc finally talks to his dad?

Say, is it normal that the badges no longer appear for Artemis's choices? I can't remember if it was systemic or not.

Yeah. Digi found that people associated one image with good, one with bad, and were selecting based on the image as opposed to the actual choice
Seems that it is true who can read has a clear advantage.... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: this comment because, it was pretty good explained as he introduced them, it took me a few minutes to get used to them, to be fair.

To people haven't played this on and thinking about it. Don't fucking play it unless you won't play anything else. This one is so perfect it will warp your understanding of AVNs and you won't be able to try others, maybe selected few excepted. I think, it needs a warning like this before the V's explanation of mechanics.

Ok - so I wasn't remembering wrong.

I had to replay 5 since I couldn't get any of the fixes to work and never got the choice for Artemis to pick the lesson she wanted first, and I thought it had something to do with the interactions, both in the lab and at the mall, before the lesson occurred - that some choices led to her being more self-reliant while others led to her being more dependent, and you needed a certain score to get the choice to let her choose. I thought Scrappy may have done it before, but took it out for some reason.

If you were paying attention, they were a good guide to help balance things out and I'm bummed I didn't happen upon it in the various combinations I did as I went along, since I know I got it once or twice in the borked saves when I played a year ago.

It's also something that didn't seem to be part of her stats page, so no way to track it even if you could remember what seemed "independent/dependent/interdependent" - and, for a healthy person, interdependent seems best.

I have no idea whether Scrappy has added an alternative to replace the missing badges for Artemis's choices.

You guys really have a talent for storytelling and humor. I've only just started playing, but the immersion is simply fantastic.

Not in the latest Scrappy, don't think so. Most of the time, it's a simply binary. If you have 2 choices while you're working with her, usually one awards each point, and it's easy to tell which will be which. You can check your work by using quicksave and noting the Artemis app in the phone, which will tell you her current "scores."

There are a couple of places, I think, where there's a potential for an Artemis behaviour point based on how you behave towards Kindra around her; she can learn by example here, and they're a bit less obvious. Then there's at least one place where there's a binary choice but one of the options gives multiple points -- I know that happens in a place where she has made a poor choice and really scared you, so it's more appropriate to scold to show the gravity of the situation.

That said, I'm on board with his decision to make it seem less like you're choosing between Good Aiden/Bad Aiden. I will say, though, that changing up the writing on the firm responses might help some. Case in point, Artemis makes a mess because you've done a shit job teaching her to cook (OK, you're trying to encourage some independence, but you never actually showed her how to work a mixer). I'd like to use the firm response there, but I want it to be more "OK, see, we've made a big mess and that needs to be cleaned up" instead of the current options of "LOL that was hilarious ruin more things" and "NO BAD LOOK WHAT YOU DID." On that note, though, even though it's clearly bad behaviour modeling, I admit I'm not big enough to not choose the asshole response when teaching her about bad word nuance.

I always go for funny or compassionate choices. We want Skynet to like us.
