Somehow, I missed this gem until now. It is so well written and occasionally the onion cutting nijas attack without warning. Love all the lasses in the game, so far(think I just started ch4, so got a bit yet to go). One thing though, the best looking gal in the game is dead, dammit. Not that I necessarily wanted any of that kink, there are far too many of those games already but that does not change the fact that she is closest to my ideal woman, looks wise, our shortstack engineer coming in second for me.

As long as I get to see her lovely face and in some skimpy clothes/bikinis, I am good. I have a good enough imagination to picture her nekkid. I will show up with her as the MC's new stepdad.

I know this is not a catch 'em all game but wondering if this might end with a possible poly path, like with Kindra, June and Artemis, as they seem to be the most important ones to our MC. Also, we know that Kindra swings both ways and has the hots for June.

Kindra and June was somehow hinted by Dev. although a long time ago don't know if he still plans to implement this.

Weekly check-in!
Most of the week was your general pose/render work. Nothing terribly exciting like my usual custom asset importing/texturing, etc.
I did spend some time getting a bit of work in with the 0.6.2 patch. The "cooing" sounds are fully implemented. As a reminder, you're able to mute the sound if the voice work doesn't work for you. There are different variations I had the actresses do, so it doesn't come off as a repetitive sound. The patch will also include corrections to some CH6 animations. Kindra's lewd scene for example. The POV camera moved a little too fast and her textures had issues at the seams. I've corrected the animations, but still working through the textures. As I've said before, DAZ is a lot more forgiving since anyone can pick it up and make a decent render out the box. But Blender requires a lot of adjustments with a steep learning curve. It's frustrating at times, but it is an investment learning the skill.
The biggest "fix" coming with 0.6.2 being fixing the farmer's market scene. Prior to releasing CH6, I stated I wasn't satisfied with how the renders came out. And with the release schedule already passing 12 months, I didn't want to upset anyone by delaying to work on it more. It was already stressful enough trying to get the update out as it took so long. So I just took the hit and released it, knowing I can just patch it later. Texturing in Blender is pretty intimidating, and your hand certainly isn't held like when texturing in DAZ.
View attachment 4950907 Above is the render that was shipped in CH6's initial release. There's a lot to point out here. Her hair is flat, her skin texture also looks flat, the morphs didn't fully import (that's not what her smile typically looks like compared to her morph in DAZ). The shader on her teeth makes it look like she's got some gaps.
Below are some examples trying to fix the issues. Big thanks to Puggy for helping me with the hair. Things are improving a bit. Her teeth are looking a little better, there's some sheen on her skin now. But it still feels off and I'm still tweaking it.

With so much going on last year, I hadn't had the time to create fun renders for you guys to enjoy and this year I'm hoping to remedy that. If time allows, I want to get back on track with random/holiday renders. Having watched Ballerina last week, I was inspired a bit. Enjoy

I will gladly do it, chapter 5 is the best because it is near to the experience of educating a (grown size) child, the curiosity in her eyes, the thirst to learn and even the fear that we experience when she "runs away" or when the behavior can be dangerously innocent and we get concerned along with the MC but my favorite scene still is when Artemis is learning to put shaped objects into the box with recesses, who played it knows what I mean, that scene is hilarious.Gonna have to go back to Chapter 5 just to play the coos.
Chapter 6 is also great and we see a very goofy Artemis at times but chapter 5 is the baby steps and give us a wide range of emotions.

The facial expressions digi created for all of the characters, but especially Artemis, in that scene were some of the best things he's ever done.

OK, just starting ch 6, dude drives like a maniac, passing on double yellow lines, several times nearly hitting oncoming traffic, head on. Naomi needs to take his license away from him.
Edit: Just got to the post farmer's market "date" with Paige and seen the scene with the MC questioning Koko about what went on at the safe house, while he was gone. The "another settlement needs our help? You attacked them...good girl." lines. As a fellow Fallout 4 player, that got a good laugh from me. Really wanted to put a muzzle on Preston in that game.

what do you guys think about the mc? I really like Kindra, Reina, June and the law girl. But the MC feels a bit whiny at first. Do you guys think MC deserve Kindra?

Deserve Kindra??? Kindra should be lucky she is even getting a playthrough at all from me, cause she is like bottom of my LI list in this game. I don't think she is all that great personally.
For me its Reina, Artemis, and June as my top 3.
But yeah, MC grows, we can't have him be perfect out the gate, we need development, otherwise thing should get stale.
