How I've been using QtEdit to greatly improve gameplay:
Firstly, I'm very careful when using QtEdit so that I don't accidentally save or load incorrectly. My process is this:
1. save my ongoing AA2 game.
2. exit to AA2's main menu.
3. in QtEdit, select "Load Save File" and choose my class.
4. make character edits and then save them.
5. load my ongoing AA2 game.
VIRTUE:

^The first idea I had was to start with every character's virtue at Highest, and then adjust their virtues manually overtime. Instead of using the corruption modules, I wanted to have more control over changes in virtue, and have characters' virtues lower (or raise) in direct response to the narratives that I invented in my head. This has been working out extremely well for me. You can change this value under the "Maker Data" tab. Changes to your classmates don't affect the values of the original cards.
RANKS:

^On the same screen, I realized that you could adjust each character's intelligence, strength, and club values on the fly. It has been fun to make little manual adjustments to these in response to things like extra study sessions, or lowering them if characters skip class to have sex, for instance. For most characters, these scores will increase naturally when studying, so I usually edit them to lower them. The maximum value for any field is 999. The effects of these changes can be seen immediately when examining the Jizo Statue, behind the Dojo.
AFFECTION:

^Lastly, the most effective method of changing characters' affections towards each other.
Under the "Play Data" tab, you can select a character, then select "Action Backlog" and edit their affection towards their classmates. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EDIT THE HISTORY OR COUNT VALUES. Better done, is to edit their POINTS, which do not take effect immediately, but will immediately be applied upon their first interaction with the other character in question.
See that little [19] by Arina's name? That means that she is student 19. In this example, I am editing her affection towards student 17 (listed right above the point values). Arina has 13 love, 5 like, 8 dislike, and 1 hate towards student 17. The points can easily change that.
Giving her 900 love points will make it so that the next time she interacts with student 17, She will have 30 love, 0 like, 0 dislike, and 0 hate.
Giving her 600 love points will mean that the next time she interacts with student 17, She will have 20 NEW love points, and 10 points remaining in whichever categories were most recently changed. So, if the 10 most recent points she received towards student 17 were love, then she may have 30 love. But if the 8 dislike and 1 hate were the most recent interactions, then those will be what are left over.
Hopefully you get it. 150 love points = 5 love. 5 out of the 30 total. I usually edit in increments of 5, because I've found that making edits that don't round clearly will sometimes lead to crashes.
Don't forget to click the save button by the character profile pictures on the left, and then load your game correctly. Making these edits becomes very quick and easy once you get used to them, and has become so valuable to my gameplay that I can't believe I used to live without them.
Hopefully this tutorial will help someone who doesn't know. Cheers
