Yeah, that's the problem I'm facing. The real issues happen in h-scenes/interactions. Admittedly I'm unsure if it's fixable or if it's an inherent problem of the game, I've been trying to test out different settings all day to try and get a better framerate.
The game is single threaded. The fix is to overclock your CPU or to avoid using skirts. (skirt physics have a huge effect on frame rate)

There is actually an H-AI setting in the launcher, as far as I know it should work and disable the AI control in H scenes completely. I just haven't turned it off before so I am not sure.

I seem to have ran into another issue. For whatever reason, I can't seem to switch outfits away from defaults, they just revert when sleeping. This problem only affects my current save file and my own card. Testing it on fresh saves seems to work ok, but I would rather avoid having to restart.

When trying to change it through QtEdit, the outfit immediately reverts there as well.

No idea, but judging that the card is meant to be placed in the female folder (even though its meant to be male) suggests that its some sort of workaround for a trap.

Thanks for answering my question, how about my next question on how to set up the crush module, I used the search feature in f95 forum, but I dont see any where the question was answered

Like a number of modules, it doesn't do anything until you add the character names to a global variable. I made a small guide on how to do that here

Is there a way to copy modules between cards quickly? So many cards have no modules at all and I'd like to add some generic ones

I can't get a single uncensor to work. Ticking Load pp2 doesn't work, trying to use mkiii and ticking that box doesn't work, trying the sv-ii doesn't work... I am attempting to switch from the OG huge-file version to the mini in hopes it'll crash far less but that ain't happening if I only have barbies.

I've been playing for about three hours, and I can't seem to get relationships beyond "I Think I Like Them..." Anyone have any tips?

In the settings there is a multiplier for affection and hate growth, I turn that up to at least 5X

Characters can only hold a limited amount of Love, Like, Dislike, and Hate, or towards another character. The Love needs to fall within a certain range to tip the relationship above the "I think I like them..." status, which means there can't be too much Like, Dislike, and Hate. If you want to raise the Love status above where it's at then you need to avoid pissing off the NPC which will raise their Dislike or Hate towards you, but you also need to avoid interactions that will give Like points or you'll remain in the friend zone. Typically when you reach that point you'll want to stick with interactions such as Praise, Love/Lewd chat, and any of the physical contact options if the character is receptive to those. How receptive they are to physical contact is largely determined by their , with High/Highest virtue being less receptive until they're already in a relationship.

The of both characters is a major factor in how easy it is to gain love. A Bisexual character will gain like/love equally, but if they Lean Homo then they gain like points at 2x the rate of love points towards a character of the opposite gender. Trying to increase love with a Lean Homo character of the opposite gender is a real grind, and interactions like Praise, Love chat, and Caress are a trap because they also increase like points. You'll likely have to stick with Lewd chat, or physical contact except Caress.

There's also the influence of , and , but I'm not going to cover all of those.

How I've been using QtEdit to greatly improve gameplay:

Firstly, I'm very careful when using QtEdit so that I don't accidentally save or load incorrectly. My process is this:
1. save my ongoing AA2 game.
2. exit to AA2's main menu.
3. in QtEdit, select "Load Save File" and choose my class.
4. make character edits and then save them.
5. load my ongoing AA2 game. (y)

VIRTUE:
virtue.png
^The first idea I had was to start with every character's virtue at Highest, and then adjust their virtues manually overtime. Instead of using the corruption modules, I wanted to have more control over changes in virtue, and have characters' virtues lower (or raise) in direct response to the narratives that I invented in my head. This has been working out extremely well for me. You can change this value under the "Maker Data" tab. Changes to your classmates don't affect the values of the original cards.

RANKS:

^On the same screen, I realized that you could adjust each character's intelligence, strength, and club values on the fly. It has been fun to make little manual adjustments to these in response to things like extra study sessions, or lowering them if characters skip class to have sex, for instance. For most characters, these scores will increase naturally when studying, so I usually edit them to lower them. The maximum value for any field is 999. The effects of these changes can be seen immediately when examining the Jizo Statue, behind the Dojo.

AFFECTION:

^Lastly, the most effective method of changing characters' affections towards each other.
Under the "Play Data" tab, you can select a character, then select "Action Backlog" and edit their affection towards their classmates. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EDIT THE HISTORY OR COUNT VALUES. Better done, is to edit their POINTS, which do not take effect immediately, but will immediately be applied upon their first interaction with the other character in question.
See that little [19] by Arina's name? That means that she is student 19. In this example, I am editing her affection towards student 17 (listed right above the point values). Arina has 13 love, 5 like, 8 dislike, and 1 hate towards student 17. The points can easily change that.
Giving her 900 love points will make it so that the next time she interacts with student 17, She will have 30 love, 0 like, 0 dislike, and 0 hate.
Giving her 600 love points will mean that the next time she interacts with student 17, She will have 20 NEW love points, and 10 points remaining in whichever categories were most recently changed. So, if the 10 most recent points she received towards student 17 were love, then she may have 30 love. But if the 8 dislike and 1 hate were the most recent interactions, then those will be what are left over.
Hopefully you get it. 150 love points = 5 love. 5 out of the 30 total. I usually edit in increments of 5, because I've found that making edits that don't round clearly will sometimes lead to crashes.

Don't forget to click the save button by the character profile pictures on the left, and then load your game correctly. Making these edits becomes very quick and easy once you get used to them, and has become so valuable to my gameplay that I can't believe I used to live without them.

Hopefully this tutorial will help someone who doesn't know. Cheers

I tend to agree. I typically only use QtEdit to make adjustments to cards prior to playing, or for testing purposes, rather than modifying card values in an ongoing game. I will acknowledge that it's a single player game though and people are free to play however they choose.
