I can only assume that what i call MM, you call "1st day boost". Its not a 1st day boost, and not everyone is affected by it equally. A cards sociability will completely destroy MM, if its low or lowest, where the card will not/never respond to a call out. A card with lowest sociability has to be interacted with DIRECTLY, or MM will completely skip it, sometimes up to a couple weeks into the session. "Bad with x" traited cards also shit all over MM, as the bonus from the mechanic will be nullified by the penalty from the trait.

But, assuming that all cards are of normal or higher sociability, then someone using a call out will make it work (for cards that respond to the call out). The call out will propel the mechanic into action. So, yes, youre correct on this part. Interactions make it work. In fact - its the only thing that makes things *move* in this game. If someone were capable of disabling MM/"1st day boost", then everyone in class would sit on "Havent spoken to" status, then *some* of them would interact once or twice, and the rest would deteriorate into slapping, fighting and insulting each-other. Because whoever coded the AI in this game was a moron, and MM/"1st day boost" was most likely their attempt at applying a band-aid to a rotting corpse that is this games AI.

Except this boost only adds up to 30 LLDH or so, and its not permanent. It expires once the LLDH is added to a card, and its not exclusively love count. After MM had done its job - the AI is on its own. And it cant do SHIT on its own, because its chat interactions are RANDOMIZED. A hetero guy coming over to my PC (also hetero male) and talking about sex? What the FUCK is the point of this?!

Someone said "this game was not made for long sessions", and they were right. The MM/"1st day boost" runs out, and the whole class turns into a massive orgy of insults and fighting.

This is Illusions best game, but fuck me, the main driving force behind its "main" mechanic is utterly retarded. Using MM/"1st day boost" as a means to make it work? I guess they tried to save the player from NPCs walking up to them and spamming them with love/sex talks three times every single break period (just like the player has to do it), but if they knew their AI is shit - they should have updated it back when the company still existed with some DLC, instead of using MM/"1st day boost".

And, no. I will not be changing anything in the "additional options" tab, which is essentially a cheat menu. If cheated stats is what you base your information on, then its no wonder we cant find common grounds on anything. Leave those on default, and look into QtEdit to see the effects. We are done here.
Finally you kind of understand what I wrote in all my previous posts.

Yes, the NPCS gain alot from "MM"/1st day bonus until they reach a relationship level, as at that point it's completely gone. This also applies to their boosted rates, but I don't care anymore about arguing about the fact that you don't believe it exists.

The game used to be much more active and engaging while it was still updated by Illusion. The NPCS interacted more, they prioritized PC and they had even infinite actions lol. It felt like a save could go on forever.

It all went to shit at the end when they put a hard cap of 2 to all NPC interactions, made them ignore the PC pretty much and broke the game for anyone that plays more than the first 2 weeks as the NPCS roam around alot without interacting as much.

AA2 was rushed from the start sadly and became quite similar to KK when it comes to interactions between NPCS - PC.

so maybe my cardswapper actually causes cards to keep getting the boost when they join the class over and over again ?

It absolutely does. MM in planted on every card upon introduction, so kicking and putting new cards in causes MM to re-engage.

how loyal module work actually? I read the code and found out that this module if card has this module & has lover, then she/he will avoid someone that trying to steal them away (Love more than 600).

It makes the NPC refuse any lewd action that aren't from their lover and also cancels any cheating they'd try to do with another card.

If they're a low virtue this is quite big, cause if they can't slut themselves, they'll just roam around the map uselessly.

Haven't tested it myself, but in SVS (which has the same relationship system as AA2) someone said the first day bonus is just on the first day of the game and after that it's gone for everyone regardless of who you add.

you can also drag select all the triggers you want to include

in order to make a module act globally, you have to remove code like "if thiscard = triggercard" and think about the code in terms of "every trigger card "

in general you will almost never refer to "thiscard" in a global module, instead youll use triggercard, talktarget, answertarget, PC, actor(0), a custom variable, etc

or if what you meant was adding configs as Global Variables, you can do so by changing existing variable types (in the action dropdown you select "Set Variable" instead of "Set Card Storage Int" for example, you have to manually add the global variable in the global variable list (use button on side of global list) before it will show up in the "Set Variable" dropdown

yeah, I already done it after several attempt create good trigger

Plus, turn out that I use too many module that cause too many conflict that causing this character (one of the waifu) gain LOVE accidentally.

Note:
- I modified Loyal module and add several new trigger to more hardcore (such as no massage action from non-lover except same gender)

Kay, gave the PCs got swagger module a go. Holy crap, its overpowered! I asked for this, but i didnt quite grasp how broken the ability to bang anything with a slightly less than 30% chance would be. Gonna stick to the After Date H...

Hows the work going on that other module i asked for? The random competition choice one?

all you have to do is lower the config values if it feels too much. i set it to be a little high by default so you could notice the difference

try cutting the values in half or more

also consider trying it with the "OnlyEffectHinvite" set true, so it doesnt effect the normal LLDH progression

Yep, thats the first thing i did.

oh i actually made both a solo and a global version but i havent actually tested them yet:
Will give this a go, then. Cant wait for the carnage the sluts will cause...

Anything i can edit in these? Or is it just a flat 50/50 random choice thing?

just flat 50 on those
Im about to test the module now, but the global one should NEVER be used. Not if youre in a relationship, anyway.

If there was an embodiment of the saying "shooting oneself in the foot" - this module would be it (pssst! refuse competitions over sex to avoid disaster).

yeah the global one could use some of those virtue restrictions and stuff
Well, at least ive made you create an expansion to the game, rather than a simple cheating module.
Singleminded trait will always choose their relationship partner in a competition.
Indecisive trait will make the card choose neither of the competing sides.

This module turns it into a wild card.

See?
