As I said... just a texture thing....maybe making a set with different hex values will work idk, but as far as I know the nipples are a tga texture, so the body xx is the one to have those hex things and that would mean making a set for kinda the naked state and maybe the ones that are semi clothed dunno
Erm... so its just a shit texture that doesnt change its lighting when it should? Got it.

Doesnt change the fact that the new lighting makes it worse. Far worse.

Yeah I see what you mean. The card looks like that for me as well. You could play around with the shadows in the Body tab of the AAUnlimited window. It'll obviously alter the look of the card, but deleting the ones in the right list labeled:

will get you this look in darker lighting

With those deleted the skin doesn't look as shaded in the darker lighting, so it doesn't contrast as much with the color of the nipples/areola. Rather than deleting them you could also try adjusting the values, but I don't have much experience with that, so I have no idea what changes would lead to the desired look/effect.

You'll have to press one of the Height buttons and re-adjust the lighting to see the changes after deleting those.

the game is perfectly playable from the vanilla download. the guide is just for modding.
probably the only mod most new people would really care about is the Uncensor.
JMCP is probably the best mod after that, followed by personalities, and then clothes and hair, and then card modules, but all of that stuff is completely optional mods.

so if all you care about is download and play, then just download and play :)

Its a shame the cards creator hasnt noticed this... right? Clearly s/he was fine with the chicks nipples glowing in the dark...

Small mechanics dump:

-hmm... apparently i was right with my assumption millions of years ago: your girl dragging you to the shitter/shower for sex earns you 15 partial hate points with her. Ive noticed this, when my girl asked me to follow her to one of these twice in a row, which resulted in 1 hate count gain, and im sure i havent crossed her in any way otherwise. Not sure why the devs havent adjusted this mechanic, so that you would get dragged to one of the less controversial private spots, but it is what it is.

-taking a peek at a girls panties earns you two like count, though im not sure if this shifts based on her current LLDH, as the chick in question had 6 love count and 10 like count prior to the event, and ended up with 6 love count and 12 like count after. I think getting slapped is better than bumming the girl out with saying you didnt see anything... getting slapped happens when the chick in question hasnt formulated a status towards you yet, or had shit LLDH with you in the first place.

-highest virtue is really strange, since while, yes, getting into a relationship with one is as easy as reaching 21 love count, if the card has more love count with someone else - she will refuse. Ive seen it a number of times with one (highest virtue) chick, with whom ive had 30 love count, but did nothing about it (had someone else - playing mono), while another guy, with over 21 love count both ways ("No doubt its love!") attempted to get into a relationship with her and she turned him down. Not sure if his chance was 0% or 5% or what, but he failed a number of times, until the chick finally lost her LLDH, putting the guy out of reach (i havent checked the exact LLDH, but her status shifted to "I think i like them...").

-based on my testing with my flytraps, i can confidently say that high virtue isnt all that great - these, given enough time, can rack up to 3, or even 4 partners simultaneously. Obviously the chances of that are slim with a regular high virtue card, given how much stuff would have to happen (or not happen) in a very precise and organized manner (given the flytraps traits and modules, that make up for a lot of this "stuff"), but its a healthy eye opener to some thinking high virtue is "the second best". All things considered, i have changed my "grading" of virtues, and claim that there are not 5, but 6 - the regular ones (lowest to highest) being 5, and singleminded trait being 6th.

-if youve made sex friends of a high virtue card, she will not put out of her own will unless coaxed into it with the "lets have sex!" call out. Thats the "base" rule... however, if she has a partner, theres a chance she will cheat on him and ask you to follow her to have sex in one of the private rooms, or even in the open, based on how horny she is. Even more of a reason to keep your girls LLDH with other guys low at all times. Dont get cucked.


EDIT:
-not a mechanic, but an interesting tidbit:
"Graceful" is the ONLY personality in the game that has separate lines for "come with me" and "come with me to fuck", allowing you to clearly tell what the chicks intentions are. In order to hear them, though, you will probably have to hunt for one with either high or highest virtue, since virtues lower than these will just ask to fuck on the spot.

New updated features on Pregnancy module (can now control functions through globals, and activate Pregnancy Ending conversation if you want)

and another new module "Always In Control" to compliment 3 modified Assertive/Accommodating modules to let PC take back control from the AI during forced H scenes (on timer, set in globals)

Major Update!! added additional Key Press function to Always In Control module (press Q during H to take control back on next position change)

PSA: Be careful with the toggleautopc script. I had that enabled, and I accidentally hit Z on my keyboard during a conversation which turned on the Auto PC Mode. This resulted in the game getting stuck in the conversation, and my PC moving away from the character they were talking to. I pressed Z again to disable the mode, but I still couldn't close the conversation, and eventually the game just crashed.

Oh i see now. i didnt realize the autopc was part of the game i thought the script was the whole feature lol

you can toggle it anywhere
actually i ran into this like you were saying a few days ago how some buttons are recognizable in H scenes vs out of H scenes, making my new module i had to find a way to disable your observer module while in H scenes so I could abuse the Q key lol. found the best way to do it was trade the Key bind itself and then just set it back to normal when H scene ends. so now the Q key is shared between both modules, switching priority between game modes, and it works pretty smoothly so I might try to do a similar thing with some other overlapping mod keys. although it might make more sense to have the modules disable themselves instead? i would like to be able to do that with the various styles based modules but im not yet sure how to determine the style in use

There's a couple of functions you can use when dealing with styles:
  • "Character Property - Find Style" will return the index number of the style if it exists, or 0 if it does not exist
  • "Character Property - Current Style" will return the index number of the card's current style
It would definitely be nice to have more than that, but that's all there seems to be currently

actually together that might be enough, just have to basically parse the styles manually looking for the ones that would be relevant by name, store the index number for each, then can check if the current style is the same index as the stored one, that would let use the string reference. nice ill definitely experiment with this. i was trying to set variable from string and there was no function returning the string for styles so i gave up on it lol ty ty

Yeah being able to get the name of the style as a string would be convenient. I believe there's a lua function that does this, but it's not callable by triggers, and attempting to modify it so that it is seems like a compatibility nightmare
