I get there's some serious shit going on in his part of the world and that's extremely unfortunate. I loved how dark this VN was and I really hoped it would continue. This game might not have the label but it's as good as abandoned. last content release was April 2022. Dev said a year ago on Patreon that he'd be releasing the update the following month. Nothing has been posted since.

Yeah he had big plans for it but fell ill and didn't pick it back up
this game really have a good potential, sad to see it abandon...

Because there are a load of one person game developers, who see games that do well and think I can do that, not realising just how much work is required to do that, and they either burn out trying to keep it going, or they just give up realising that they can not do it, though there are other options as well, medical issues, massive and disruptive changes in either their work or private lives, or changes to the country they live in, etc etc.

Yeah, i get you. I was curious and a french team proposed me to help them. So i have some insight of why projects fail. First of all you can be as good as writting as you want if graphics are not worth you game gonna hit a wall. I don't say you can't suceed but you need to be that good with gameplay and story. Then, yeah dedication is key. You won't make it in one day and don't do that for money or else you won't find the motivation. Do it for you, do it for acquiring skills but if money is the bottom line you may not succeed...
This project was dead at conception, a guy very good at writing who has no skill for graphics lool what a shame. I warned them even if contractors or free help you need a real graphic man.
