It seems some tags may of changed for the makeshift. When I tried the agility upgrade, it increased corruption instead.

Trying this out. Competent work, though I have to say that losing all my inventory due to a plot mandated death (the bandit leader) is pretty irritating. I had been grinding for the more expensive upgrades for a good bit.

You can somewhat get around this one of two ways.

1) go back to a save file prior to leaving the hotel and facing the bandit leader encounter and storing all of your possessions before leaving the hotel to begin with. If you've got more goods on you than you can store in your chest at the hotel will allow for, there is a mod available on the game's Discord site in the mods-releases channel there that anyone can download that will increase the amount of items you can store in your chest.

2) If you don't mind missing out on seeing what actually happens in the bandit leader scene after all the bandit battles takes place (if you happen to survive them all,)

Well I couldn't wait for a reply, so I tried to find out what was going on with the error.
ScriptError: could not find label 'end_author'

I don't understand the "bad ending", was it because I chose to kill to many enemies, was it because I chose to keep the pets and who the Hell is Author and why would the MC be forced to become him! The corruption and sanity stats were at okay levels, so why the bad ending.

Unless the dev can add some type of trigger warning "choice" for players, not to follow the dark-side path (I must have been on?) Reroute to a better path, saving 33 days in game play time spent, The game is over for me.

It was good until the forced bad ending (I hate bad endings in adult games, they will never make me want to replay the game again, so I don't know why they are included in an adult games, horror based or not.

Thanks. It gave me more insight into how things work. I was never aware of a hidden variable until now. Its just that whatever I try, I couldn't reach this ending. Guess I should stop using temperance and 'dealing with the devil

Hi Odlanier,

Sorry for the late reply, but in my post I questioned the dev to the "why" the game outcome happened.

I guessed it was from killing the wrong things, or maybe becoming too corrupt overtime somehow from gameplay choices.

The error I fixed for myself, only led the game to have a bad ending, but I think the game is setup to do that anyway (bad endings).

Hi Game Lord,

Thanks for responding to Odlanier, I think you might have better insight into how the game (may) play under the hood.

I think my play killed roaming killers, rapist and/or some cult members, so I guess killing baddies gave my MC some bad mojo so my game ending was after a freaky bad end.

As far as raising their Lust and Affection, try visiting them at different times of the day. Usually this will resolve any given issue when it comes to this.

The game sure has some flaws, but at least it isn’t something plain and expectable and the dev is remarkably active.

Yeah, I hear the comparisons to Slay the Spire a lot. I've never played it to be honest, much less haven't played all that many card game types either. I can understand the turn-off that would be for many a AVN players to begin with. According to the Dev, most card deck building type games, it is normal for the player to lose their decks sporadically throughout playing these types games. Not sure how accurate that statement is but I can only imagine with this being a AVN to begin with, to then have spent the time and grinded to build a competent deck only to have to lose it via story elements would be frustrating but if it is normal in other deck building games, what can one really say.

I know and have posted previously about ways to somewhat bypass losing your deck and/or possessions regarding certain story related events occurring in-game here in this same forum so if that is one's main beef with this game, and may even be one's reason for giving up on the game even though they may like the story and visuals for it, you really don't have reason to walk away from the game for this reason after all really.

Like you stated, the game is something fresh besides the same old tropes and takes we see for so many other AVN's that are available in the marketplace.
