It's based on the awesome game, Slay the Spire, and removing the basic cards is correctly treated as improving you deck. Thus costs resources like improving cards. If you like the card game part of Astral Lust, check out StS and Last Evil. LE is a very well done porn StS copy cat. I'm looking forward to this game fleshing out the card game portion. The fact that it's still an early version, and all done in ren'py is really impressive.
Strategy wise, if none of your cards are too special, you can flood your deck with better cards. So the percentage of crappy cards is reduced. That's a risky strategy in this game with ho hard the good cards are to acquire, and that you lose everything on death.

You get the fourth spirituality point when all stats are at 10. For vitality, I think you missed one of the the three exercices in the gym (a kind of bicycle). Spirituality gives you more energy for using cards in combat.
