If this is legit, it's awesome. I hope the dev gets his subscribers back with interest and has the continuing health required to feel much better than he was apparently having to put up with previously. Sounds like the discord will be more active on updates going forwards, too, so that's a neat perk I guess for patrons. As well as inadvertently us, since we have some members who look into that sort of thing here.

Fair point on that. Damage, either to the dev or to the long term development of the game, would not at all be ideal. And even if we go with the 1.5 months stated as a higher end estimate, that's still gonna place a lot of burden on the dev. I didn't even think about that at first, since I was too busy celebrating that the dude was back and not dead/dying. But that is indeed probably a pretty valid concern.
It wasn't in Chinese for me on Patreon, at least. I therefore think it pretty credible, at bare minimum. (Though it says it's been about a day since it was sent, so maybe the bug hunt is taking a while.)

Where did you get this don't see it on Patreon or Discord there is part of this message on Discord posted by someone else, nothing on Patreon not even the start of the post and rest only available to supporters. If this is true it's best news ever
I found it under the Community tab thingy. I used to be a patron, so maybe that played into my receiving it or whatever? I'm not especially tech literate, but if you also saw it posted on Discord that's good.

Last post on patreon was Aug 2023 and the last post on X was the same Aug 2023.
Don't know about discord but if dev wants support they need to post on both patreon and X.

I was thinking of subbing before he went dark, maybe I sub for a month now and see how it goes, I'm sure he lost a lot of supporters the time he was MIA, I'm glad it seems his health is better
Does anybody know who this "Chuck" is that he references as prospectively dropping future Discord health progress updates? I don't see them listed in the About section on the patreon page. But then again, I also don't tend to look overly much into the Discord servers that most devs have up and running, so maybe he's better known there. wookie ookie seemed to have looked in the Discord and found something or other that was a part of what got sent out to the former patrons, was that posted by Chuck? Or is there any hint as to who that is, roughly?

I don't know who Chuck is, what I found on Discord was a small part of the long post that is here, with a note to that stated they weren't posting the whole thing on discord in case Victorius wanted it only for his subs. We'll know soon enough I'm going to sub tomorrow to see what all comes about on all this

Nice to see the thread getting lively but I'll wait for an official response. Would be great if the dev logged into their old accounts like a new patreon post, twitter, f95 Victorius Astral , or really anything that isn't my friend new a guy which says his alcoholic sister slept with someone who saw his image appear on a thing of toast when he awoke to give her breakfast and her morning after pill.

Well I subbed at midnight figured I would for a month at least to see what was going on with game and if there was anything to the post, 9 hours later no change on Patreon page last post 2023, no direct message about supposed update today can't see anything that has changed.

At first on March 20th the target was the 21st. Then on March 31st it was going to be April. Finally, it actually came out in May or so.
Not sure what happened there exactly, but it's bad for publicity when the expectation gets killed repeatedly, even if it does eventually come out. At this point a product with flaws might be better than a project delayed.
