If i recall... Each copy of a card over the max you're allowed to have of it gives you +1 XP on it, and at certain thresholds your card 'levels up' and most of the time you get one or two options what that card upgrades to. Once picked it applies to all cards of that type, so you don't need to individually feed and level every single card, but it is recommended for the more useful ones.

When I acquire the cards from battle, they auto combine, but getting them from any other source including creating them, I cant find how to combine them.

if you are still having issues with this, go back a few pages and download the mod for 100% market and add to game. then go to PC and buy the antibiotics or can use discord to download the file. However, renting the old man's daughter is fun too if you find the merchant in game so there is that.

They SHOULD auto-combine there too, though if it's got the maximum amount of stars the card is 'capped out' and the extra XP gained from combining them is simply lost. You cannot, unfortunately, feed that XP to other cards instead.

Looks like the Loot All Corpses Mod is causing the problem. If the mod creator is still activ, try to message him. Maybe he can fix the problem.

Spoiler: You should be able to click the green Evolve part at the card bottom, if a card didn't auto combine and still can be upgraded.

My buffs (intelligence, strength, agility, charisma, etc.) keep falling every day, was that really planned this way? If yes, this results in all kind of stuff:
- You have to train your skills every freaking day, meaning you can go out once.
- You never have the right skill, it's totally random luck. If I go out and run into bandits, either I have low(er) health and loose or I can't choose the right option (for example the bandit who's stabin you if you don't tell her to undress first...if you didn't train your cleverness).

Far from this the game is great, playing it since years and never complained (maybe mentioned a bug, but that's it).

AFAIK, the only source of stat down is from a dream deal with the Devil, and while that event can happen multiple time, it take a chunk of your stats at once and not a slow drain.

Are you playing a certain difficulty (highest difficulty) where perhaps this was its intent here?

I'm playing default I believe and this is not occurring in my game.

You can check your game difficulty settings using the pc in the MC's room.

There's also a Difficulty mode in the Settings in the main menu on the start up screen of the game but all I see for that option is turning on or off Ironman mode which only seems to prevent using the Back option as far as I can tell.

Only other thing I can think of is if you're using mods, maybe one of those is causing it?

Well I was finally able to get a Dragon Heart to create Thors Fury, which has 4 energy requirement.
How do I increase my Energy?
While I am at it, how do I also raise Wisdom and Luck?

Raise energy using a particular card. (Can't remember name but someone will...)
Wisdom is by reading a book by your bed.

Luck is via a deal w the devil, and maybe other ways??

how do u unlock this "lola" character... i pretty much maxed everything on the other characters and spent alot of time going out but never getting this character to appear... does it need some special stuff to have or threshhold with one of the girls for her to trigger or what? Do i do "Path of Destiny" or pick a certain location?

Please try the mod on future versions as 9 time out of 10 it will work as intended. This game's code is very well written so the Unlock things should work just fine. The only thing that might need updated is the Makeshift Cheat Menu.

Has some nice things like Restore Health, Raise Stats, Obtain Items, Unlock Collectibles, Unlock Wallpapers, Unlock Gallery, along with a Makeshift Cheat Menu.

These tend to be self explanatory but the Unlock Gallery flags things as seen so while most of this would likely be future ready it can't add what it don't know how to add. The Makeshift Cheat Menu is a collection of cheats I found in the code so just organized them.

If the console was accessible then I probably wouldn't have bothered jimmy-rigging this. Before the question comes up no this doesn't make your dreams come true.

On a lighter note the girls are cute! There were a few times the guide was telling me to do something but the game just wasn't in the mood yet clicking around aimlessly eventually lead to profit.
