There's nothing subjective about the quality of ATD's work dropping off a cliff.

His Textures are nearly the same, fluid effects the same, animations are worse and less fluid, the overall execution is bland.
Hina would be 40 minutes of 8 fucking loops if he made it today

So let me get this straight.. better PC == "better quality"?

In what exactly? The final rendered frame? It's about as good as it can be given the style choice..

I think you mean "high quality content only YOU approve of, on the release schedule YOU approve of".

Quite the mental gymnastics there to equate two things that are not the same and also subjective.



ATD's Patreon ended a long time ago and SS doesn't show the numbers, so I really don't know how you can proport to make any claim as to the number of their subs or income.

Couple that with the fact that you're very likely not a supporter yourself.. best to just sit down and stay quiet.

The only investment any of you are making in this creator is the time it takes to wait for the download to finish.

i think the key is that now we have pc 20 times stronger meaning that the author canrender the videos "isntantly" compared to his previous stuff 10 years ago, so it shouldnt take that much of rendering compared to before

ATD's probably in his fifties by now, and I remember he had kids pretty early on. Honestly, it’s kind of amazing that he’s still keeping up with updates, especially since he must have a main job. For a hobby, the fact that he’s created so many unique works is already impressive. If he needed money, he could easily compile his past stuff and sell it on a site like DLsite, but he hasn’t updated there in ages.
While I’d love to see him make more complete projects, it’s honestly great that he’s still active at all, Umemaru3d is a similar case, The last thing I’d want is for these to stop updating one day. With veteran creators like these who’ve been at it for over a decade with such distinct styles, expecting a commercial-level quality overhaul isn’t realistic.
If the new stuff doesn’t look good, just don’t buy it or watch it
