MadLad Nomad Thank you for trying out the game after all. I hope you found something you enjoyed, and that it was worth combing through content that you clearly find unpleasant.
That being said, the dev has mentioned the whole point of this work is to throw in whatever fetish he pleases, so replacing everything with more vanilla scenes would be a bit counterproductive to that. This game stands out in a sea of half-finished 3d sandbox games because it has a strong identity from this "kitchen sink" approach.
The phrase "it would just take a little extra effort" undermines any efforts the dev may have already made to accommodate for different people's tastes, and makes assumptions about how much effort is used to render new scenes or even re-render old scenes. Personally, I'd rather see that effort used to make new content that the dev is actually inspired to make. Not that I'm against more lez content mind you*, I'm just wary of seeing a dev lose focus on their project because they're trying to please everybody. There will always be another potential fan whose tastes are "just a little effort" away.
That being said, SnubbLR is the one that gets to ultimately weigh if he thinks that effort is worth it. It seems to be industry standard to make certain extreme tags avoidable, and he's already shown a willingness to adhere to that by making scat avoidable, so maybe we'll see skippable beast content in a future update.
*in fact, I almost scrapped this whole reply when I realized I was basically arguing for beast content over lez. But I'm a bit tired of seeing devs pressured to make something different by people who don't like their content.
