I think that getting rid of Eric was always part of the plan in that other game, but it was rushed pretty quickly. The Dev here I think misread the popularity of David/Tasha and pushed it through too quickly. I'm not saying it isn't popular, it seems to be the preferred ship for a lot of fans, but he just dropped he main story for what is essentially side content. Who knows, the content is already heavily skewed towards David. You could do an entire Alex only update and David still might have more sexual content available to him.

All planned renders are done and the script for 0.8 is done as well. Now it is just implementing everything into the game. It shouldn't be too long. But it takes decent amount of time. When I will know when it is going to be finished I'll announce the dates.
