Ren'Py Abandoned Au-pair Innocence [v0.9 SE] [Alex]

I don't like when developers lose money either- especially considering I support many of them. However, Alex screwed up on this one, big time. I know this has been said, so this will be a repeat, but when I play a game I want to play as the MC. This should be obvious. And as the MC, I should be the first one to get or ignore (as in the case of a NTR route) the supporting characters in the game (think, The Tyrant, Babysitter, Love & Submission, etc.) So, playing as Alex, I should've had the option to go after or ignore Tasha first. If I chose to ignore Tasha in favor of Ala, then I would've been OK with David banging Tasha first. However, as the game was written, Alex (i.e., me) had to sit and watch as David corrupted Tasha and then banged her first. Getting Ala as the consolation prize (because that's what she is as there's not clear "Ala only" route) does not help. This is just plain stupid.

Additionally, I see another obvious problem that Alex has. He (I'm assuming he's male), has seemed to make it somewhat ambiguous who the main character really is. Is the MC Alex or Tasha? It's certainly not David- at least based on how the game dialogue reads. If the MC is Tasha, then it's perfectly fine that she chose David over Alex, but since the game is seen from Alex's POV, he seems to be the obvious choice as MC. And so again, my first point applies. The game should flow through the MC, and this game did up until the cottage weekends started. Alex should've had the option to stop the visits (or go along) from the beginning. The fact that he didn't tells the developer really preferred David to be the MC, and decided mid-stream to change the course. And if he wanted David to be the MC, he should've written the game that way from the beginning. I still would've played it, and been perfectly fine being the rich prick banging all the women in the house!

And yes, I understand he's supposedly re-writing the story to give Alex a chance to intervene, but the damage is clearly done.

The funny thing is that David actualy lost Ala without knowing
But I'm with you he shouldn't neglect the Alex/Tasha for 3 updates.And seems he even forget that Alex get BJ from Tasha in 0.4 and not in 0.6.
Seems for 0.8 we will need to restart the game to go back on Alex/Tasha route.Real shame.You just don't make players restart the game after more than 100 day game time to actualy experience tha promised content.

Real shame to not make the 2 paths from the start.No idea how he even was thinking to leave the option to stop David for the end of the game.What's the point?
Now at least we get that before the last episode.Still probably will need to restart the game or at least use a save from the first 3 weeks before cottage start.
And I realy hope 0.8 will be not like the other 2 realy small updates-one with less than 45 images and the other one with less than 40.

it would be much more interesting for mc alex if he started to plan some kind of revenge that would expose david/tasha affair and their shady deals resulting in them being kicked out and little harem ending for alex with ala,tanya and charlotte,that way the game would stood out as being a little bit different than the others

This game was screwed long before this (which is a shame I love the renders)

Pretty much if you don't stick to the walkthrough, and the exact days and events mentioned, you cant complete most of the tasks.

But in order for that to work. The game would have to be set up for it. The problem is it isn't. When she is will Alex, Tasha is the bog standard slow burn main love interest. The whole game is set up around that, until the David stuff creeps in. I've said it before, but it really does feel like it's one of those times where the dev went out of his way to please a certain segment of his base, and totally pissed off the rest of them. Especially when he was talking about wanting to work more on the Alex route until he suddenly focused entirely on David.

Well the problem is that the game promise from the start that Alex will have to win Tasha.Guess what,after 0.4 suddenly all Alex/Tasha content stop and from 0.6/after day 82/ that path is even completely blocked.
Also the dev just decide to remove Charlotte from the game as LI.So sex scene with her is deleted from the game.
Maybe the dev should just make Tasha same like Nicole/The Tyrant/ from the start-complete slut.
BTW the game should be called Au-Pair CorruptionIt seems the only innocent so far is Tanya.
We know that Tasha is based on Triss Merigold.And we all know that the Witcher trio/Triss,Yennefer and Ciri/did so many naughty things in some short videos and sex stories

Honestly a continued route from Alex's perspective where he gains a vendetta against David and Tasha and seeks to get revenge by ruining things for the both of them would be super ambitious and could be great. That however would result in the MC Alex having to grow a backbone and stop being so reactive to everything going on, which I can't see.

If someone made a game with some good renders and a plot that revolves around the after of getting a gf or loved one stolen from you, and you going on a mission to ruin things for both of them would be great. (maybe in the process taking the girl's mother, sister or best friend or even the stealers sister or mother) Having a MC that started at the absolute dirt low and slowly gained power to show up the two people who wronged him would be a super refreshing plot in this genre as I've never seen it before.

That can be refreshing if the lost happen fast like in the intro or first update.Nobody will want to look that 6-7 episodes before MC can start to fight back.

That's what I mean, like that is the intro where it explains who you are and who the people around you are. The game would start with the MC realizing he can change things for the better, and could even open up the prospect of a 'good' path with actual love or an 'evil' path with corruption and control, kinda like Love and Submission.

No it wouldn’t be it. It would just make him David mk2 & do nothing for people who already had no interest in that path. I find it refreshing & ambitious that game hopefully is going to have 2 separate paths.

Well it seems like for a lot of people the separate path won't make them happy as they already saw David win. Also since David was added the game was already supposed to have 2 seperate paths.

For a lot of people continuing the separate path will make them happy. Ditching it now to try and chase after individuals who don’t like Tasha at all anymore because of the David path seems Suicidal to me.

And irreversible !!! One point you are wrong.
Alex can start day 82 and send Ala to the Cottage. The famous day 85 will not happen " Office close and fucking speech from Tasha". Just continue with 0.7 teach Tasha as normal. Send Ala again, until to finish her event with Tanya . To proof this to Ala you have to send NOW Tasha ONE TIME to the Cottage wher you have the choice " Send Tanya to Photostudio as David" later Tasha give David a BJ. The Day 85 is now Day 98 or 99 and you finish the route with Ala and "DAY 97 fucking mistake" never happen. Now start with 0.8.

Not so rare, because Triss body isn`t less sexy.Alex put her as "Tasha" in good shape.Honestly the first photos in black straps of Tasha / Tanja is in my store. Tasha looks like Little Red Riding Hood and Tanya immediately uses the right tools.
Tanya fucks better with her attitude than anyone else. Nothing remains dry as with Tasha. I hope I still experience it.
