I see the steam release is on Jan 31 2024. Looking at the recently posted roadmap I also see that the game is near completion. Will it be complete by the time of the steam release?
I would prefer to wishlist/buy the completed game on steam and play next year if it is already almost completed. Thanks.

Been playing this game for years. I enjoy it but 29.5 is a mess so far. The Ohro dialogue randomly shows up in a bunch of places. On the upside, 30 seems to fix a lot of issues and should be out in a bit.

I remember there was this version(15 or 17 I think?) which was insanely bad, I needed to replay the entire thing for some reason and not a single line of dialogue in the entire version displayed correctly, the continuity was all out of whack, the quests didnt work correctly etc etc. It was painfully obvious nobody even bothered to test it before release

So this seems a little glitchy, I've played for maybe an hour and seen a few dialogues just straight up work wrong, where the wrong words pop up and then it displays nothing at all until I force close.
Achievements as well seem to be unlocking incorrectly? I unlock unrelated achievements while doing things.
Is that exclusive to this version? Like some bug was introduced? The game has been around forever so I can't imagine really obvious bugs like this have just persisted.
E: And where are the savegames located? I kinda wanna delete this one and try again and see if it doesn't glitch out again.

I mean, it's really a great game, one of the best and most unique. But i think it run out of it's potential, should work on another project, recent update kindda boring.

Really love this game. But its grindy. And that's my bane. I can't play grindy games for long. I am still playing this means I like it a lot but if I get stuck I am done. And I might get stuck soon
Here's how I fixed it:
- Went to %AppData%/Local
- Rename "Aurelia" to "_Aurelia"
- Open Aurelia, let it load and then close
- Copy some saves from "_Aurelia" to the new Aurelia folder in %AppData%/Local
according to the patreon people who pays should get the update 30 days earlier than everyone else put 0.29.5 was posted 7 july so it newer updates should exist somewhere? not sure where tho.
For people that stuck as me with "ancient map" not spawning in ivy's bedroom or in the main character's chest, found some type of workaround that helped me personaly.
Backup your saves in \appdata\local\aurelia. Open your save file (save 1 for example) with notepad, find and change strings to this:
item_ancient_map="1.000000"
place_name="Melkor's Tomb"
LastRoom="r_melkors_tomb"
Save it. Remove other files (but keep settings.ini). Load your save file (by pressing load, not "continue"). You will be in Melkor's Tomb and ancient map will be in your backpack. Dont leave this place, click on everything, talk to woman, give her what she wants, get dagger. I did merkor's realm for a few levels. Come in to the house, talk to Scarlet, sleep, talk to Ivy about ancient map. Now Melkor's Tomb will be accessible in your map.
Dunno if all steps are required, migh get bugs in future quests, but for me its better than replaying game from beginning.
