Oh yeah, totally agree. I am not ungrateful for the uploads or to the uploaders. I just think testing is very important and can go along way in keeping the community happy as a whole. I don't expect the entire game to be played before upload and shit if a bug comes up that I can fix, I don't mind fixing it for the community; I already have in the past lol. Just when a game bug pops up within 2 minutes of playing or the download archives are corrupt; it just gives off a bad impression.

Ah yeah, it was a good thing this game‘s file size wasn’t too big... Imagine if it was too large (gets a flashback of Island Saga)... Oh G No. (Well atleast Island Saga was confirmed to be hardware related but downloading 3gb+of game files multiple times is...added that it’s on mega with a cap for non-premium... ah the headache).

So, i saw this game had or still have alot of issues, i normally test the game or check the files for every upload i do thats why i've never receive a complain about the game being broken, but in this one i saw some old members posting the download link, commenting and the staff allowing that i didnt bother to test because i tought that was everything ok. I'm not putting the blame in the others since it was my job to check before posting,

I guarantee they just booted it up to make sure it allowed launch never bothering to check if it worked beyond the title screen. This has been a constant problem with uploaders here to be honest. They don't test, or they do minimal testing. To be fair, I get why they don't test the whole damn game, as playing all the way through taking the time to test everything would be time consuming for a volunteer and would delay uploads. In a perfect world these things would not happen but I still wish they would do more a bit more testing because the errors would of been seen if they had at least played 5 minutes.

Uploaders spots are open, if you think you can do a better job apply for it. I see a game with this kinda of problem once a month so i guarantee we dont "booted it up"

Understandable, shit happens. I would probably of made the same mistake knowing the circumstances. I admit my previous post was a bit more harsh then I had intended. I have a bad habit of being a dick first and looking back and realizing that I could of gone about something a better way. I'll just say regardless of my previous frustrations; I appreciate the uploaders and apologize if I came off in an ungrateful or entitled tone. My only concern is that a good effort was put into testing. If that is done no problem.

A good suggestion. Just not for me, I like doing things at my own pace and focusing my time on an uploader role here would take away from the things I would rather do like translations.

Far as the uploader testing goes... I'm a linux user. So I have a linux file system. That means file names are case sensitive. Can't even begin to tell you how many games have been completely broken and required repeated modification to stop it from crashing for 'file not found' because the developers type the wrong case in their scripts calling up images or music. This even happens with linux versions sometimes. Not an uploader mistake necessarily, but it's definitely an issue that crops up every so often that doesn't get caught in anyone's testing.

No. If the depiction crosses a certain realism threshold(Decided case by case) it is not allowed. To quote Sam on why the rule exists:

Realistic/semi realistic tries to allow stylised characters such as Nergal's games, whilst disallowing content from creators such as "Mysterful Games". Obviously there are grey areas but unfortunately this is unavoidable.

If you have a genuine better solution to the issue I'm sure staff is very interested in hearing about it, otherwise this is a fairly moot to discuss.

This isn't even remotely true as they have removed things that aren't even remotely realistic and don't even have any references to age outside of appearance. Other times they will keep games that straight up say they are underaged.

It isn't rocket science....

They have 3 options:

1.) No exceptions. No loli content is allowed.

2.) All loli content is allowed.

3.) Draw the line at "realistic/semi realistic depictions of prepubescent characters". They currently do not do this even if they claim they do. They have no constancy in their decisions. And that is why people keep having this discussion over and over and over again. It isn't exactly impossible to create a more defined criteria for acceptability that isn't reliant on mood.

Honestly, it would be better if they would be more heavy-handed if that meant more consistancy. At least then it wouldn't be so annoying.

Yes I've seen a few games removed that made me raise an eyebrow and question the process behind it, but personally I'd take that over the alternative of simply not having any loli or worse, this site.

1.) Might become a reality if staff becomes tired of dealing with what crops up from status quo.
2.) Is not a realistic option.
3.) 'They' do so. However staff is plural and has different opinions on where that border is since they didn't all grow up with the same influences. Past that there's plenty of speculation that can be thrown in like how the art is presented for staff consideration, one problem I imagine exists is whether it's presented in full or trickle-fed over time.

as someone has previously mentioned. it is staff - plural. all of them decide what is passable and what is not.... they are not some AI to have programs coded into them to have some weird consistency.... some things pass the check some things dont. they are the staff so they have the final say in everything. take it or leave it.

Thank you for your work and it's working for me so far. Since we are getting them for free I don't think it's ok to complain about what we get or not. There are guidelines but in the end they decide what they wanna keep or not. If there is any game I wanted but that goes against what they wanna allow I'll just have to find it somewhere else, but that's it. Pointing out the quality, some error, ok, but feeling entitled about what the staff *must or musn't* do, yeah no.

I'm having an error and I think it's on my end as any rpgm game that has the dragon logo usually boots up looks then resizes itself multiple times before it fullscreens then crashes. I've tried reinstalling the ace assets twice now but nothing seems to fix it, any help would be appreciated.

Clear Machine translation. It is a DLSite translation which are often times MTL. I found a few sections where Japanese characters are still showing, and weird wording for example The Protags retainers calling her "Your Princess" as opposed to "My Princess" 100% MTL

It's MTL. Sometimes the text doesn't fit inside of the box. I can still understand what's going on, but it's like having a robot try to tell you a rape/slavery bedtime story. Artwork is decent, though, and the story itself is relatively involving.
