my suggestion to YT:
don't come here at all. avoid this place and instead focus on your game.
when you have a chapter done, release and show off. read a little, some feedback, and again, don't come here until the next update. when this is going in a good and steady fashion, maybe, you are ready to come back full time to get good and bad feedback.
right now, this is not productive. it will just create a "blablabla" situation, people don't trust you.

Okay, maybe I didn’t word that the best way possible.
What I meant was that people are still willing to give money to this game even though there were other projects that deserved it WAY more than this game and were either discontinued or abandoned due to people not providing enough support and suffered due to the pandemic.
Is that better? And to further elaborate, I’m saying this because I don’t trust him. The guy is no different than Stickjump, JBGames, and ProMorning. He promises too much with very little to show for it and would probably take all that money after the next major update that will probably be a half-baked bug fest and leave in a huff.

You have to take care when talking to YT though, if you don't word it perfectly, he will go into a tangent about how it was not like that, you are mistaken and hyperfocus only on that... and THEN he will jump one more and tell people are LYING about him.
Care to elaborate why I would support games I like? Uh, cause that's what you do? Not really sure how this warrants elaboration. There is no contract that specifies I have to spend every dime I make on Aylia's Story. That's asinine.

The alphas are literally posted on Patreon for patrons. All patrons have access to them.

See, now that's true. I do have trouble prioritizing and I am a complete amateur at development. But, I don't charge anyone for my mistakes. Hope you find a game you like, have a nice life.
I mean at one point I was pretty interested in this and considering contributing to the patreon if it took off. Now I'm here for the "updated artwork is TECHNICALLY an update you're all haters", which I guess does make me a hater. See you all next time the 3 month abandoned tag deadline comes up.

Y'all need some chill pills. I thought that he released the damn thing based on the amount of posts, but no, turns out it's just some old people yelling at clouds YT. Everybody knows that this thing isn't getting a release on a set date because YT isn't physically capable of honoring a deadline, so much that he himself admits that. Therefore there is no need to post here unless he delivers an actual update that one can see and download.

Honestly....If Yummy still wants to work on this game, maybe hire some folks? I'm sure lots of folks from the time this game came out [When proper English rpgs were rare] would gladly help.

I'm positively surprised the game is still being worked on, but at the same time I'm negatively surprised the game is still being worked on. It's been 8 years, man. 8 years. It's both disappointing and impressive.
I remember feeling lucky that I found this just before there was going to be a release and I had missed the first 2 or 3 years of development. Well that didn't exactly work out.
