Kind of odd that the Linux version is separate from the Windows version. Usually you see them together, since they're basically the same - just different libraries and a shell script vs an exe.

It's actually pretty hard to get her to date Silver. As in people try to make it happen and fail relatively often. So if she's dating and you didn't want her to... well... let's just say you made a lot of bad choices.

You don't need to do that. It is incredibly minor. In earlier versions, Silver could hint to Jessica that he knew who she was which would make her suspicious. That honestly didn't work out so we cut those lines. Just assume they never happened.
