Okay that was a badass response, I liked that.

To be honest I'm not really into the weird spinoff angle with a college-aged Cream, IMO if you want to make a game like that why not pick one of the many adult characters in the first place? Why piggy-back off an existing game? I never liked that kinda stuff, it always felt like you're just exploiting people fondness of an old work. Like Velma (the godawful show) exploiting people's fondness for Scooby Doo to get an audience.

BUT you're right about it being good to help out. I deliberately left the prompt embedded in the image I posted, you can find it by just slapping the image into a local Stable Diffusion instance, or this

Tried that - same thing, however if you manage to install Stable Diffusion as standalone on PC (there's guides available) & add the model mentioned from mobians.ai & you can bypass the restrictions - although this took several 'generates' just to get a 'descent' pic

...okay I looked into it and actually I was wrong, you do need 16 GB VRAM to run the model I was using, which a lot of people won't have. I thought you'd be fine with a low-end video card and that is not the case.
So yeah okay I'll help out if I can (with model/image gen knowledge and/or generations), although probably this is not the place to do it. Let me know if I can contribute, with either AI gen knowledge or actual generations. Is there a place in F95 to discuss/contribute AI art?

Alright I fucked around in Ren'Py and now I'm just considering improving the base game, making it not hideous and such. Example:



The goal would be fixing all the visuals (yes, including the lewd ones too of course). No promises, but it is kinda fun messing around with it. Would this be of interest to folks?

(Don't ask me about aging her up, I want to improve AvalonX's game, not neuter it. As far as I'm concerned, any additions/changes would have to be in the spirit of the original game.)

I said no promises, and I'm sticking to that. But I do have some ideas... maybe!

(Okay one promise: if I do get bored of the project I'll share all the work I've done so others can take over if they want.)

Anyway, I'm using FuzzyBunnyMod as my starting point, because I think it's good, and all of the stuff they added fits seamlessly into the base game.

Suggestions are welcome, but I do have strong ideas of what this game should be, and it's basically "what Aval0nX would have made, if he had more time/energy/resources." So I have no interest in removing content, or making Sonic "nicer" (I think both the high-morality and low-morality paths should be fleshed out, and players can be as nice or as nasty as they wish). For example, the "raping Tails" scene holds zero appeal to me personally, but you can bet your ass it's staying in there, and, sigh, I'll probably make visuals for it.

So, I have a question for fans of this game, or Cream, or the Sonic franchise in general:

Which is better, first or second?




I'm specifically asking about the orange patch on top of her head. Do you guys see that as a tuft of hair (#1), or a patch of differently-colored fur (#2)?

I have to make a bunch of creative decisions about what the characters should look like in detail, and most of them aren't that hard but this one I'm not sure about, I see advantages to both. I can easily do either but I would like to keep it consistent and it would be *very* annoying to go back and redo all the art later when I'm deeper in the project, so I'm asking for feedback now. Thoughts?

Making pretty nice progress btw, most of Cream's standing pictures are done. I'll make a new thread if/when I complete a version that's worth playing (still no promises, but it seems more likely than not at this point!)

I've also been looking over Novilon's changes and 99% of them are good or at least unobjectionable, so I've changed my mind and instead of the earlier FuzzyBunny mod, I'm actually using the latest (Betamix 0.3.5) as my starting point. It's not good to have forks with different content, I want there to be a single consensus "best version", which includes everything.

Although I am going to scour through it and revert any content removal. If you don't want to do mean things to Cream, then don't do mean things to Cream, I promise my version of the game will never force you to be an asshole. But some people do want to play as an asshole, and that's fine too.

(I do have a lot more thoughts on the future of the morality system, but for now, graphics first.)

Which I consider a placeholder for now. It looks okay, I don't hate it, obviously better than the original derpy sonic, but I keep going back and forth on the details. (Are Sonic's hands blue? Does he have fingernails? How fuzzy is this hog? Am I really going to go with Aval0nX's epic "green cargo pants + plain black tee" combo?)

Let me know if you have a strong vision for how Sonic should look. Remember that he has to look not-ridiculous when jerking off/having sex, so the weird stylized torso he has in the games/movies is not going to work.
