What's with this game? Is it ded or wut??!
Based on the post from the developer just above yours, I wouldn't think so. They've been working on the game; it's just been slow going. They're probably just busy with real-world things so don't have a lot of time to work on this right now. But they obviously have made progress since the last release in April, given the numbers they've provided.

Just one addition to this post:

It's not "they" but "he". Like many games on this platform, Back Home is a one-man project. With a developer who's not in his prime, who's not an expert in all aspects of game development, if any at all, who needs to find money to fund the game, and who obviously has to do things to stay alive as well (not to forget taking care of his beloved), things tend to go not as fast as desired.

I'm working on it as hard as I can, though. Back Home is certainly not dead.

Sorry, I wasn't actually meaning more than one person. I was using they as a gender-neutral (meaning gender unknown) term, since for many developers I'm not sure. Now I know you're a he, but in English they functions as the pronoun when you don't know someone's gender. (And this isn't a recent thing; it's been used in this way since the 1300s.) Anyway, just so you know FFR; the word does not only function as a plural.
Thanks for the heads up, it's just that it's been more than a year like literally!
No problem. FYI, though, it actually has not been a year. As I indicated before (and as you can see from the OP), the last release was in April of 2024, so it's been a little over 7 months.

Btw when can we expect the public release of the next episode? I mean in a month, or two months etc...
When it's ready. And it isn't.

In a month: very unlikely. Within two months: if everything goes perfectly, without any setbacks. Within three months: more likely.

The next public release will be the start of "season two", a new game. Since I know only the very basic things of computer coding, this is challenging.

Hi
Caramba
are You ok ?
Thank you for asking. I guess it depends on your definition of OK .

Actually, I'm only a few days of work away from releasing the second season of Back Home to my patrons.

Currently, a very painful back hernia prevents me from doing any substantial amount of work, so these few days will last a bit longer, I'm afraid.

Heyy Sir, how's your back doing? Hope everything back to normal by now...in any case: Get well soon, being healthy is the most important thing fr :)!
Hi, thanks for asking.

My back is doing better, although there's still much room for improvement.

The thing is, I've been in the hospital for surgery five times during the last few years. This pain in the back (sic) is one of the symptoms of the fact that I've not taken enough time and effort to recover from that. Now I'm paying the price for that.

Currently, I cannot work on the game for more than about one hour per day. Many days, I can't even do that. And I shouldn't. Working on my recovery is hard enough labour and should have priority.

I'm afraid that's what it is. My body said stop, and I must listen to that.

That doesn't mean Back Home is abandoned or even on hold. It just means it will take more time.

hey rico Caramba Just wondering, is the harem one of the endings?
That depends.

I've learned that the word "harem" should be used carefully to avoid misinterpretation.

Not in the sense that the MC will become some kind of Pasha, controlling and submitting all or several of the girls. If that's the vibe you get from the game, I may have done something wrong.

But a polyamorous ending is something I have in mind. There will be many (at least, a few) endings to the game.
