From memory alone, it does not seems to have that much new content. It was just changed from a sandbox to a kinect gameplay.

Nah I remember that they reworked the whole game to how it is now, and then it got abandoned and now this update came out today. So just wondering if anyone has a save where the game ended before it was updated today

The dev had already removed the sandbox in the previous update, and in this one, according to the changelog in the OP there are 500+ renders and 2000+ words
So, yes you deserved the facepalms...
