Not at all. It is just that in its unfinished state you can somehow proceed in the path that hasn't even been done yet.
Just go back a few steps and it will then throw you to the starting screen when the story line is through.

That is already the end of the game, but because of a flaw you can go on and therefore find unfinished animations...
Should throw you back to the intro/new game screen.
Go some steps back, I don't remember exactly where you can fool the game into "proceeding into unknown".
I then started from the beginning and when finished it took me to intro screen...
