It is tho. And i really like renders too, i`ll definitely keep an eye on this game, so its in my bookmarks right now.
And one more thing, author dude, do you plan to create at least blog? Because if you want to do things right, i think 1st step is creating a blog, 2 making a working tech version(not like 1 min demo tho ) and then you can go patreon. Cus i have seen 2 much games in early dev like 0.0.0.0.1 and its rly frustrating. I`ll just hope you do things right and wont abandon such a nice plot. And also, have you created games before this one? I`ll just curious about ur experience as programmer & game dev person. At the end of the day, i think i like your project and i`ll hope to see its grow. gl2u

Well, my CPU and Mobo got fried a week after I posted this demo/proof of concept (... delid fuck up) so I've been restricted to script/dialogue. As of this week, I have replaced both, but I won't be able to really start digging back into CG/Sprites till this weekend. That said, I like the new stuff in my outline. Figuring out how long this could take has made me rethink how much sex/CG should be distributed throughout the game and how to do that naturally. Ultimately, I think it's better than everything kind of ramping up to a big climax and everything before that point primarily existing to serve that climax. That would work if I was going to dump a finished product, but not if I'm releasing episodically.
Also, I think I figured out how to save all my custom (not from scratch, but altered) shaders/materials/figures as loadable presets rather than just importing/merging everything from scene to scene while a shitton of invisible factors make file sizes/load times/VRAM usage absurd... so I should hit the ground running and be more efficient than I was before. CPU/Mobo are better now as well, but I render on my GPU so any benefits are fringe.
This is kind of thing that makes me happy I didn't start a patreon. I don't want to be making promises to funders until I'm sure I can keep them.
Once I've finished the first "Chapter" (demo was the opening scene of a prologue that's fully scripted but not rendered) I'll probably do some kind of blogspot to host progress reports/previews though.

Maybe I could help you ? You know, remote access, you start rendering and then download result. I have 6600K@4.4Ghz+GTX1060 6GB. Maybe somebody else has better hardware.

While that's a very kind offer, it's a time problem rather than a horsepower problem at the moment. Assuming I didn't blow any of my finals, all I have is one paper to submit by this Friday and I will have completed my J.D. Granted, the bar exam is also on the horizon, but even with a full prep course I should have plenty of time to get renders baking.
That said, maybe I'll upload an imgur gallery of some of my prep/test stuff that I have been using to warm up with the last few days and some other stuff I was messing around with before everything got messed up.

Not mine either. Whether it be games or reality, this type of shit fucks me up. He said it's a "deconstruction" of the NTR genre. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean. At the same time I feel like I have an idea when coupled with the idea that his GF is a cult survivor, which wouldn't be there without obvious plot reasons. So I don't know. We'll have to see.

I really want to see where he's going with this. NTR combined with raunchy humor and a willingness to put the main character through increasingly terrible levels of hell as the game progresses could be fun in a "Meet The Parents" kind of way.

I saw some renders on /weg/ of "Shallin" that were in the same style/lighting, but I believe that was some kind of parody. Author seems like he's still getting a feel for the 3d art, so I wouldn't get hopes up too high.
