Well, i did ask about the bad graphics, to which i got smartass responses about the nonexistent disclaimer. Could have been that it was getting a remake, what do i know, the 1st page only had the good images. Proves my point that the early graphics are indeed bad.
Even so i had a feeling the better, advertised ones were in the latter part of the game, and it's disappointing that the bad ones weren't remade.
And if a forum isn't for asking questions and talking about the game, what is it for? Pretty much every reply i got on this game's thread was from impatient cunts whose only goal was to put me down.
I tried remaking it and i fucking hated it, I hate going back and making old shit. Wanted to focus on new game. And yeah everyones goal here was to put you down. You just didnt read the disclaimer

Not gonna lie this guy must be a snob or somthing as those renders he is talking about are not bad at all,And personally I think there is no reason to go back and improve the renders so what if the early renders aren't on par with what came after it just shows how much you improved and learned while making the game.

Since you apparently have very little knowledge of where you are, I will try to elucidate you. Don't read me wrong, I have no intention to put you down. This is just an attempt to bring you to us.
There are a few titles in these forums, that by one reason or another, create a fan base that goes above and beyond the normal. Bare Witness is one of them. In this case, by virtue of a good story, excellent characters and a quite clear dedication to it by the Dev team. It is, obviously, not the only case, but, it is one of them.
To us, that have been following this project, it matters very little if some renders are sub par. Sincerely, I've replayed this title a few times and never even noticed anything that I could call BAD. I'm sure they exist, either by comparing to the later ones, or comparing to other works. None of that truly mattered to me, and quite probably to the majority of the fans of this title.
So, when a fan base as united and cohesive as this one, is faced with a criticism, that may very well be warranted, don't be surprised that we present a strong front of protection. You see, all through this process this Dev team talked and showed up, they took a long time to create the endings, but they did a tremendously good job of them. For that, we feel a certain loyalty and a certain caring, and the last thing we want is to see their work disparaged.
Now, you are comparing the early work to the late work of an artist that evolved, learned and improved. Is it any surprise that the later ones are a LOT better? But, honestly, does that make the older ones that bad, that you think they need to be remade? And by the way, if after that the artist evolves again, should he continue ad eternum to remake his work in a perpetual cycle? When is it time to say... Enough! ?
What you read was the communal opinion that the "Enough!" part had been reached and it is now time for new work to be done.
Did I make sense? I hope you didn't feel put down, but enlightened, so that maybe you can find in yourself the humility to say "Thank You" and manage to enjoy one of the good titles that are available here.

*sigh* I hate being "that guy" (although I frequently can't help myself), and it's not like this Tallion's attitude from the beginning wasn't somewhat rude, and later combative -- I mean, the early art may not be as good as the later art, but calling it "bad" is something of a stretch. Most people not knee-deep in graphic production won't even consider it "bad" compared to the later stuff. It's just not as good.
So yea, YOU (yes, you Tallion) may think it's "bad" compared to what you like, but the fact that you saw the previews and thought the early stuff was "bad" says more about your standards than the actual quality of the work (BTW, there's still some 1st and 2nd release images in those previews, so you should have been better prepared).
Anyway, to be fair to his last argument, the "disclaimer" Uller shows is not the one that appears in the pre-Steam release (0.5 Final) and that one is still listed first in the OP.

I missed most of this discussion but the art in this never bothered me. Even if it had I’d never expect a dev to return to a finished game and re-do the art for me.

This game will always have a special place in my heart and my hard drive.
The endings were so perfect to me that I honestly feel sorry for developers who have to try and match it.
We got to see a full romantic journey of the MC and the LI/LI's that you chose. From them helping the MC deal with his past, proposal, getting married, moving in together then having babies (most of the time)
As I said when it was first released, to me it felt like a warm hug and just kept me there.
Now I look forward to the future of Heaven's Door and what you've got in store for us.

Playing v0.5 and after the MC decides that Mora is his main focus and they are exclusive he goes with the Marshalls and suddenly Heidi is his girlfriend again. This may be old news.

Pretty sure the Steam version fixes this, as I didn't have any issues with the pathing on all my playthroughs.

Yes, there's a couple pathing bugs that were fixed in the Steam version but not in the Patreon version. Most of them involve Heidi or Sadie, particularly on paths where you're not on Athena/Heidi throuple, HAM, or MASH.Pretty sure the Steam version fixes this, as I didn't have any issues with the pathing on all my playthroughs.
Damn, the women in the game aren't fucking around they jump at the MC from the get go, to be fair is pretty clear that the MC is describe plenty of time as "hot" and "handsome" and the way he acts seems a very chill dude, kind of understandably that plenty of women would jump on him given the opportunity, low key wished I was that handsome or more chill, guess is looksmaxxing and personalitymaxxing route, lmao.

It's really a legendary game but I couldn't understand how a legendary girl like Athena could come out of such a family. Of course, when people get old, they lose their old handsomeness and beauty but I don't know, it was very interesting. Heidi's mother, for example, was great.

It's funny to me how a little question of "when do the better renders start" came to this
And by the nature of my question, the label of "bad" was used since they are bad compared to the new ones even if they're ok. Don't think anyone really got triggered by this.
And it's not like i'm trying to bullshit, i did try to find the disclaimer, didn't find it and don't care to.
I finished the 5th ending of the game, it was really great. For me, Athena was one of the best characters I've seen in adult games. There are 11 endings, I think. I usually try to do all the endings in adult games. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the other endings. Maybe I'll get it from Steam in the future and try it. In addition, if it's not in your language, play it with Translator3000, I played it with it, it was fine.
