i can't really bring myself to hate this game exactly because of how stupid the whole thing is
this game is a masterpiece that's what it is, 10/10 i'm starting to actually play it unironically at this point

Red or blue doesn't really matter. The first ones you buy are the bad ones. Test them to find out (preferably on Quentin), then use them to spike an opponent during Muscle Stud. The second one you buy is the good one and it helps during Muscle Stud.

I wish it had a bad end, as far as I have played if the rival gets too far ahead you just go to Game Over that night. I would like to see an actual ending with the Rival rubbing it in, maybe even the MCs family.

That's easy. Simply take all the wrong answers, lose all the girls. See what happens.
(I tried it, even got into negative points territory. But I got bored with it after 2 days and abandoned that run)
