I could just about make out that there will be an update on the 27th but I wouldn't bet my shirt or house on it. Did he mean this year or next Sept? Your guess is as good as mine.

Yes, not commenting much is better, since the comment would tend to be harsh. I understand that making 1000 high grade renders is a lot of work, esp. when done alone. But he is already months(!) past stating that the update would come in a week. And now he dodges another two dates. First the 24th and now he kicks over the 27th!
This is not gumdrop level, but seriously encroaching onto that "exalted" territory. The typist better get´s out the update on monday! I do not cater to unreliable devs long. Fool me once... I truly doubt that his anniversary got the sudden jump on him when he planned the release. Why the hell did he not just say directly monday or so? Does he get a kick out of pissing off his fanbase?

Here's the thing, I might be one of the last few to leave hopes for this game.
The dev doesn't care anymore . It's a never ending bullshit story.
Update and jerk off for a month. Mention an update date and then zilch.
Speculations has been raving hard for the last 5 months. People want to believe in the guy but he ups and disappears for extended time periods, comes out with bullshit excuses

It's 28th already. No sign of an update. I don't really want to go out on a rant but I can't help it. What kind of a dev milks his fan base by not delivering on a near consistent basis ? ( Screw you EA ) EA being one idiotic sham, this guy is just worse.

The game so far is gorgeous but there is a limit to the tolerance of fans. Screw this guy. This developer, I guarantee you, has no job in reality. He lives on scamming people and thrives on pisaing off his fanbase.
